Bonobo Panbanisha's Coffee Conversation

In this video, Panbanisha would like to go in the car to get coffee but is told that she cannot do so because we are being filmed. (It would not be a good idea for the camera man to try and ride in the car with the bonobos.). She agrees that we cannot go but would like Bill Fields to take the car and get her some coffee. It can be seen that she is able to employ negation - along with a reaffirmation that she still would like coffee and that she is able to employ symbolic gestures and vocalizations as part of her lexigram communication.
