You can tell this dude was trying not to cringe at most of the questions. 😂
as am I
I love the Podcast Noel, but this was not one of your stronger interviews. Hope you take that as constructive criticism and not a dig. I wouldn't expect you to know everything about the LS/LT platforms, but in cases such as this, bring a guest host with you that knows a good amount about the platform(s) and that can ask the questions that deliver that compelling dialogue. There was just not a lot of Alpha in this one, and it wasn't because of Brian in the least. LME is a premier LS/LT engine builder. There was just a lot left on the table in terms of provocative questioning, respectfully. Keep hustling!
For the people in the know. It’s sad to say but the interviewer is representative of so much of the market.
If these guests give you a shop tour you should show it if they don't mind.
That would be awesome.
Finally some LS content. 👍🏾
More Coyote oriented.
Here for the LS talk. Need more of it.👀
Best guests I've seen on one of these automotive podcasts
Kind of annoying to put a gm guy on the podcast finally and you still beat the coyote to death and keep bringing it up
Coyote is king.
Its simply cause of how good the 5.0 its a great compare and contrast tool
Exactly literally nobody cares about a 5.0 ford. GM LS/LTs been king for 25 years!!
@@5PT_HOKing of what?😂😂
This feels like a 15 year old asking a pro questions just to hear himself talk. Then when the pro answers, he’ll ask the same question later on because he’s not listening to learn, but just to respond with some airhead BS. That would annoy the F outta me if I were there. Asking about the “purple stuff” on the head and sh!t. Ask about tall deck engines, the L8T truck block, where he sees the future of the C8 builds heading, ask about the DOHC 7.0L SB4 . If he could take parts from GM, Ford, Dodge and build one theoretical engine, what would they be?
I’m a Gm man we need a podcast for Chevy information
Asking the pros and cons of LS VS coyote lol .People have understood the flow capabilities of the OHC since NASCARs big 3 developed engines back in the late 60s. The better a engine flows naturally aspirated the better it's gonna respond to pushing boost through the engine. The engine is a air pump analogy.
The future of motorsports looks bright.
So does LME cut the keys on a 4v to be able to advance the timing? I’d like to hear his answer.
I see a fellow Amry troop is viewing in! Hahaha
Fantastic conversation man , keep it up!
Chevy powaa all day every day!! Love ya LME!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪💪 One of the best in the world!!
Seeing all the way from Chicago keep up the good work
Luv man 🔥
@43:28 hello 351 cleveland. This valve design rocks
You work on airplanes and you don't know the difference between the strength of Billett and Cast Aluminum..?? How don't you understand how and air pump works, the piston goes down, and can suck in X amount of air, via the quickness of the stroke/rpm, or size and comparison to head to valve size.. The LT is a bit better from its Webbing and is a stronger block, and much better heads and no fuel taking up volume in the heads/intake manifold since its DI..
Take a shot every time he brings up the coyote
This guy works on helicopters.... sounds like he builds Lego
Helicopter legos
You still grounded from Alex's show? 😅
LME is definitely late to the party in regards to the Coyote platform. Machine shops like FFRE, L&M, TKM, and RPG are already miles ahead with their R&D. The only advantage LME would have is their geographic location being in close proximity to well-known Houston speed shops.
Good episode so far
Let’s goo
I love how they all did something first🙂↕️
Ford guys are proud of their first good engine since 1970.
Ready for that first sealed and sleeved block, stock hood location car in the 5s.
First good engine? SBF/BBF stuff has been making crazy power for decades, and although those engines arent my cup of tea, my 2nd mustang that I owned happened to be a 2003 cobra. I would dare anyone to claim that it wasnt a "good engine." with bolt ons I was routinely showing cammed LS2 and LS3's taillights.
Only 2 races I lost was to a heads cam auto 6.0 camaro on a 100 shot, and a C5Z06 fbo heads with a MS4 camshaft, making 450whp. Once I added a whipple 2.9 crusher and E85 fuel system, he ditched the LS6 and went 418 LS3 with a Novi2000 and a flip drive, dude ended up making 900+ whp before going big single turbo.
But I digress, that car gave GM guys a ton of headaches for something that apparently, didnt have a good engine in it lol
One name Brett Lasala. 3000 hp on 5.0 Lets go!
This guy is insanely knowledgeable
Dope ass podcast 🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥🔥
Yep that was me wrecked the car 3 days before tx2k24 so I had to order parts from Md to Texas and rebuilt the car n Georgia but I made it tho with a running driving car.
Best in the game! Glad we finally got some LS content
Im a all 3 guy love all the ls/lt/coyote hell even sbf, but for the guys that like them Steve morris be a good one for big block talk 👌🏼👌🏼
Calling a dual overhead cam motor modern technology is hilarious they've been around just as long just new to you😂😂😂
Man I'd love to see what some these guys think of the summit pro LS stuff
They don’t like that budget stuff, they need their high price point profit
@@timweb1510 true true but I’d like to just hear what they have to say about it
Get amp, lmp all them on there csp that would be cool
I think this is a awesome podcast and much needed to learn how different shops operate but I don’t think every host want to keep elaborating on coyote engines every show even though we know what there capabilities are but nonetheless awesome podcast bro1
S.A.M started as a engine building shop and after training and loosing so many mechanics because other shops was offering them more money they decided to turn the shop into a schoool.
Mackbuilt ?
Where can I message about an inquiry
I have put the website in description
Spotify coming soon?
Yes
Need Alejandro flores on the next podcast
This dude has no idea what he is talking about show your audience a boosted NA LS1 lol plus a NA LS3 WILL produce 800-900 wheel hp
Great show. You can tell the Coyote is turning into a money grab.
I think if you plan on staying NA LT platform is better. If you plan on boosting LS is your best bang for buck.
Depends on how much power you plan to make.. can you run 12-18lbs on stock LS.. yes a few times, or with the safe tuning/low timing and stay out of low rpm high boost situations you can make one live with a car if you have good stuff to keep it cool, and iat's down. And thats fine if your a street guy that goes to the track on rare ocasions.. I ran sbe on one 5.3, one 6.0, twin 68s & single 102mm on 5.3, and one 6.2LS with a maggie, broke all three of the.. The maggie 6.2 lost 3 pistons, heads torched on both sides everything fucked but rods, crank & intake nothing else slavageable, 5.3 two rods thru the block, 6.0 broke timing chain, destroyed 7 pistons both heads and all but 2 valves from a fuel pump dying,.. mostly blown up on 150-180mph long roll race pulls in my c6 grand sport.. Last year got a 22 SS 1LE and have my LT with cam, intake, ported everthing, TB & headers,.. Makes 587whp for $6100, as he stated you can't go over 650 without upgrading the DI or adding/changing to Port which is not cheap.. Im done with the super fast stuff so just shy of 600whp, sounds nasty and rev's so fast compared to the turbo cars im used to.. The 6.2LT makes the same hp, mod for mod with a 7.0/427LS makes.. If you want to go all out for 1300-18--hp with any of them the LS is not cheaper.. I know several guys running in Ultra Street going bottom 4's with LT motors now..
love not seeing oziel on the pod
Can't hear a thing no volume
Check your settings
@@gohardpodcast it finally has it 😀 might be RUclips playing up 😂

LME understands the LT is going to take over for the LS. And its going to be cheaper and more reliable to build that coyote. Smart man. As ive said coyote is as hyped an engine as ive ever seen. Yet to those who have never owned one let me tell you this...they are not making 1000 wheel with out needing sleves and blow up fbo with tune...spend 60k plus on these things and find out yourselves. You blow up an LS or LT you get a new one car or truck back on the road quickly. Coyote not so much.
