  • During a trip to Houston, TX last fall, we gave ourselves a few extra days to check out some shops in the area. One of the shops we had to stop into was Late Model Engines. Co-owners Bryan Neelen and Pecos Loughlin have established one of the best LS, LT and Hemi engine shops out there. Now in its 20th year in business, the shop is doing more than ever, and is even targeting some expansion. Check out the full tour in this EB Takeover!

That's a well set up manufacturing plant... America has a lot resting on the motor industry. Thanks as always sir❤.

Big business.Great CNC'd parts, heads, covers, manifolds etc.. Lots of engines, 500 plus a year.... Just a thought, you need a bigger engine building room with fitted out bays...looked a bit cramped in there for 6 to 7 engine builders...

That's interesting. I contacted them at least twice about building me an old school SBC. They were only interested in selling what they had already built. It was disappointing because I was excited about getting an R/M motor.

If you’re in Texas & don’t get to Reher Morrison, it shouldn’t be called engine builder! They were doing it when you had to build your race engines with shit from the junkyard! Those type shops are getting fewer & further between! They have seen everything!

We plan to make a DFW trip soon, so thanks for suggesting Reher-Morrison. Would be great to see that shop. For this trip, we were solely in Houston.
