@@LearnHowtoSign I actually asked my mom to give me a camera for Christmas so, I will be able to teach ASL on RUclips. I would love to meet Meridith one day and collaborate with her. ASL is my passion. I am really thankful I found a wonderful person who enjoys signing just like me. Keep learning how to sign!
@@LearnHowtoSign Hi Meredith. I love the videos that you make and teaching everyone ASL. is there any way we can collaborate together? You are the best teacher ever, and I would like to do the same.
I'm hearing and my daughter is deaf and I absolutely love your videos. You show us the words in a sentence. You have not just words were learning but putting it all together. You have helped me so much. Thanks for all you do!!
i always wanted to learn sign. since i started watching your video i've learn so much thank you. eventhough i havent had a chance to communicate with others its very helpful for me and my family thank you. have a happy thanks giving to all of you.
Honestly it's all thanks to you! We are all here because you have really taught us how to sign in such a fun and therefore easy to remember way. Your content is extraordinarily clear, useful, organized, trustworthy and enjoyable, also, I would dare to say that I feel welcomed Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Hey I attend a blind and deaf school. My vision is low and I cannot see very well. So would you please explain your hand movements for the low vision people. More descriptive information. Palm up, palm down what are my fingers doing what/where is my thumb. People often treat me as if I have little intelligence. I would like to speak to the deaf/hard of hearing with intelligence. Thank you.
If you click on the square at the bottom of the video Then the cc button it will tell you what she is saying. And she was explaining it pretty well so maybe that will help. Good luck to you.
I first came across your channel a few months ago and I have to say I absolutely love your energy and the way you explain everything! Me and my children watch your videos so we can be more inclusive and communicate with ppl of the deaf community! I used to be friends with a guy in that community and ever since I have wanted to learn! So thank you so much for your videos!!❤❤❤
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for finding your channel! I have always wanted to learn how to sign. It is an amazing way to communicate with the people of our deaf community. God bless you and your loved ones!
These are so helpful ! I love your videos Bc it helps me to talk to other deaf people that I never met yet these sign languages are very HANDY if u get it!
this is such an amazing channel! they have helped me so much, I know I am not fluent but I bet I can talk to a deaf person and they would understand me, I am excited for her next video!
I have wanted to learn sign language for a wile now, but I didn’t know where to start. I love watching your videos! They have made it so easy for me to learn! Thank you so much!
I love your channel so much! I honestly wish I had you as my mother growing up. I started learning sign because I'm going to a new school as a teacher and they have an ASL club, and I just want to relate to my students more ~
I've been using these videos in tandem with talking to a deaf guy at work on breaks and I'm learning pretty fast. There is a bit of a bottleneck though that a video might be able to help alleviate. There seem to be no videos to practice reading fingerspelling. I can fingerspell fine. But reading it is like slamming the breaks on any conversation I'm having. It also slows down how much my deaf friend can teach me. I feel like a long video which is just fingerspelling at slowly escalating speeds (perhaps with subtitles for portions) would be a very useful practice tool.
I was wondering what happens when you're ambidextrous in regards to sign language? My "dominant" hand changes situationaly depending on what I'm doing. Thank you in advance, and I hope you and your family have a happy Thanksgiving.
Hey I recommend you say just Native Americans or Indigenous because Indian is for the southern asian people. They used Indian because of a misunderstanding and is not needed for today. Besides that it’s a great video :D
This video you put out last Thanksgiving ... today I am watching it and here in a few days it will be Thanksgiving again. How about that for timing? 2022.
Hello. I'm confused with the sign dessert. I watched a video about valentines signs. They are different in this video and that video. Can you sign dessert horizontally? I think dessert HERE is signed upright meaning date. What do you think? Thanks for teaching us to sign!
Hi Monique. I am Deaf myself all my life. FYI person teaching the Thanksgiving signs did all signs correct, except for her signing of dessert. The sign she used was “dating” and the actual sign for “dessert” is slightly similar. The “dessert” has the “d” hands down like you are pointing at the person you are signing to and touches each hands together a couple times. I’m not criticizing her signs, just wanted to make it clear on the correct sign.
I am happy that Google sent me you. I wanted to know how to sign Happy Thanksgiving. I am 99% deaf in my left ear and 50% in my right. I decided to take a sign language class through my employer which was a medical center it was a 6-month course. Because I was afraid of one day losing the rest of my hearing. Wish I would of learn sign language at an earlier age. Wouldn't be bad idea to teach in grade school or a elective in High School/ College as a secondary language. My instructor had told the class that there is a shortage in teachers / translators for sign language. That would have been a great career/ profession. I did not start losing my hearing until the age of 40 due to meniere syndrome, and probably rock and roll. Nevertheless you got a new student.🤟
I love your channel you teach me a lot every day and this Thanksgiving I know what I am thankful for is your channel!
We are thankful for all of you!

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 🥧🍗🍁
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
Happy Blessed Thanksgiving everyone❤❤❤
Thanks
This is a favorite of ours
I immediately saw a turned 'g' instead of 'Q!'; she is GOOD!!! 🤣😁🤟🏿
I was wondering what happens when you're ambidextrous in regards to sign language? My "dominant" hand changes situationaly depending on what I'm doing. Thank you in advance, and I hope you and your family have a happy Thanksgiving.
I’m pretty sure that for ambidextrous folks, you just choose one hand to use as your dominant one to avoid confusion while signing!
Hey I recommend you say just Native Americans or Indigenous because Indian is for the southern asian people. They used Indian because of a misunderstanding and is not needed for today. Besides that it’s a great video :D

yeah, this is cool.
Good video!! I have a question though. The question is: When do you have to use closing signals like “I or me” ?
Hello. I'm confused with the sign dessert. I watched a video about valentines signs. They are different in this video and that video. Can you sign dessert horizontally? I think dessert HERE is signed upright meaning date. What do you think? Thanks for teaching us to sign!

I have a similar question, i am left handed so do i sign with my left?
Are the words dating and desert the same signs?
Bonsoir bien
Is the sign for DESERT and DATING the same?

just a thought... why teach Indian if it isn't the proper term? Native-American should be the go too...love you videos though!
