  • How Long have ticks been around | A Lyme and tick-borne Q and A. In this fascinating video, Dr. Cameron delves into the history of deer ticks, tracing their existence back millions of years. Scientists have discovered ticks preserved in amber-a fossilized tree resin dating back to the age of the dinosaurs. These ticks, remarkably similar to the deer ticks we see today, have been around since the Ice Age, migrating and surviving in various environments.
Dr. Cameron shares that deer ticks were even discovered on mice at the Natural History Museum in the 1930s. At the time, scientists were unaware of the connection between deer ticks and Lyme disease, a discovery that would come later. The longevity of deer ticks highlights their resilience and long-standing presence in nature.
This video provides a unique look at the history of deer ticks and their role in the natural world, offering insight into the origins of Lyme disease and tick-borne infections.

Ticks were stuffed with pathogens (Lyme etc) on Plum Island to use as bio weapons. Same story as Covid. Escaped the lab and now we are all sick because of our government.
