I'm a Bruins fan. Not a Leafs fan, sort of a love/hate thing, but I very much enjoy your videos and I have listened to your first audiobook. My birthday is October 15 and I will definitely be purchasing the new one.
Audible lists the run time of 12 hrs but that seems like a guess since it's usually more precise.
First of all thanks to Steve et al for providing great content and the ability for fans to make comments. Several other well known hockey sites either do not allow comments or remove the comments that go contrary to their narrative.
My dad was a life long Leafs fan. He would have turned 97 this year. He was really hoping the Leafs would win the cup again before he passed away. I believe most Canadians would be over the moon for ANY Canadian team to win the Cup. Lets hope 2025 the Cup returns to Canada.
On a negative note on the NHL as a whole. Fans loved Capfriendly. The NBA site is still up and running. Fans loved watching hockey without the adverts on the boards. Fans loved watching the draft with all the teams GM in one place. Has the NHL become so dollar driven that it no longer cares about it's fans?
I would gladly pay a yearly fee to enjoy the next NHL armchair GM site if it was up to or above the standards set by Capfriendly. Myself I sent in a couple of comments and found their staff very helpful.

Ok! I remember Steve from the Chat only days. Back in 2009 or something. I will say this about Steeves. I watched and rooted for Reimer, who was thrid chair (chair? it's been a minute) and he went on to awesomeness. SO. With that said....I'm rooting for Steeves. (Hopefully I can find the games this year). (BTW Steve...I'm the one that could call a shot before it happened. You don't remember. No issue. Watching what's next!)

That’s not how it works. Two way contract just means he gets a lesser salary in the AHL and a bigger salary in the NHL. Nothing to do with waivers.
