    WTF is up with the comments on this video. Like she says in the opening, she reviews cars for moms and families. She never says anything about for rich or poor moms/families. Just because you can’t afford this car doesn’t mean she shouldn’t make the video. How about you people just pass then if you know you can’t afford the car she’s reviewing?! Anyways, good work Kelley. Keep up the work.

      Same to you. If you don’t like other peoples comment then just pass it. And don’t have to be here to educate anybody starting with WTF. So, relax, don’t pretend you know a lot.

      What’s hilarious to me is I drive a suburban and they are priced nearly as much as a BMW right now. People just get so judgmental just because it’s a BMW. We are actually considering this vehicle because I feel like I’m getting more comfort and luxury for my money. I spend a ton of time in my vehicle and that’s where I would put my money.

    Beautiful X7, but I need hard buttons for the basic controls. We should NEVER be asked to search on a screen for climate, audio and safety features. The previous year ('23) had the right mix of hardware and software. It just needed modernization.

    I just got my 2024 X7 M60i this month. It’s my favorite car I’ve ever driven. It just feels luxurious sitting in it, and drives incredibly! The only part I don’t love is the third row access/ability to put flat with car seats in the second row captains chairs. Ultimate mom car, and my toddlers love it!

    I own a 2019 X7 50i, and I love it. I have 3-1/2 and 2 yo. I have my 2 yo car seat set up right behind the driver seat and 3-1/2 yo on the passenger side of the 3rd row. We did a road trip with my mom so she could sit right behind the passenger seat. We flatted driver side 3rd row so we can keep all our belongings. We took two umbrella strollers, two small size suit cases, and two extra small travel bags. We also paked winter jakets and etc. under trunk storage. Nalgene water bottle fits on the door, which it does not fit in X5. Overall, three adults and two toddlers can sit very comfortably. I would upgrade to another X7 for sure.

    Awsome review as usual. I honestly watch ALL your tours even if the car you're reviewing isn't on my list, just to see you do your thing. I like that the x7 has vents on the door panels and not just at your knees. If it's not gonna be in the ceiling at least put them there. And I do love that it's only two seats at the back. Don't like the awkward look of the headlights though. Anyway keep up the good work 👍🏾

      X7 is terrible for families! While the x5 has 50cms on the 2nd row between the isofix slots x7 has only 42cms! So their mom needs to struggle in that small space. x7 is extremely small for families, much smaller than an x5. If you dont beleive it measure it yourself, we have an x5 and an x7 in the family, both new.

    Good review as always! Love the interior of recent BMWs, and the quality is amazing, I recently test drove both new X7 and GLS, I prefer X7 over GLS by a mile! Eventually we bought the X7, still hate the front though😂, love to hear your view is exactly the same as my wife’s, she also loves this new X7, particularly the massive screen.

      Question: How do you like the a/c vents in the redesign ? We are in very hot climate in central TX. And even adjusting the climate settings, I wasn’t impressed with the feel from the blower. Feels like a design oopsie on BMW’s part. Comparing to the 2021 X7 because that’s what we have right now.

    • @siquanwu3131
      @siquanwu3131 Год назад +1

      @@BMWBuyer-nq2qv I don’t have any specific like or dislike the design of the vents. It integrates with the whole dash design IMHO, GLS’ vents look nicer with inbuilt LED and look like plane engines, but that’s about it. Overall, my wife loves the BMW interior better, and I find the build is slightly more solid than Merc.

    You can put two car seats in the front and two in the back. If it is two older children on boosters in the third row they go there. Another two in the 2nd row. They enter the side with the smaller seat by pressing the button and move it as far forward as you can and let go the seat will stop there. Enough room for children to climb to the back.

    I have this car and had the previous model beforehand. Could not agree more with you about the climate control system. Took me about 2 months of driving to get used to it. I will say the split air vents are not my fave and I hope they change them in the next iteration. It takes me so long to find the smallest tweak of the handle to get the airflow to my face. Other than that the car is incredible and I love all the other updates they added!

    Yeah, the inability to fit 3 car seats across the bench (and hurray for you wanting a 2nd-row bench seat - in most of the vehicles I'm looking at, you can't even get a bench seat on the highest trims!) is why we bought a Suburban back in 2001 when our 3 kids were at that age.

    How did you feel about the overall legroom? IMO the X7 would feel quite cramped on long trips especially for 5+ people based off my previous experience sitting in them (which would def be a dealbreaker especially for a car of this size). Other than that however, I think it’s def the benchmark of 3-row SUVs (especially the V8 ones but the 40i is still awesome).

    Few design elements I'd like to see BMW put into this are;
    1) A dash shelf on the passenger side, similar to the new Pilot and upcoming Grand highlander with a USB built in, like Grand Highlander for uncluttered cable phone charging away from the center console. The X7 is lacking in useful storage cubbies up front.
    2) Forget the electronic folding rear seats, (keep the electronic raise feature) what's the perception with this being luxurious? It's just a lot slower than manual latches/straps i.e., Telluride for example.
    3) The split tail gate design? Is it really that beneficial? Asides from Land Rover, has any other manufacturer offered this design feature? Tailgating yes, maybe once in a blue moon, stop the cans of beans rolling out the back? Yes, but they're in grocery bags anyway! For me it just adds an unnecessary longer reach into the trunk and to get access to things further back if the third row is flat, you'd probably have to get to them through the back passenger doors.
    4) For me, zero benefit to the climate controls set through the touchscreen. Physical buttons/dials will always be quicker, less distracting and more intuitive. Just because it looks cool and is perceived as high-tech and a luxurious feature doesn't mean it's better than traditional physical buttons/dials.
    Asides from that if you don't need Escalade passenger space/cargo volume it's hard to beat!

    I actually don't recommend this car for a family of more than 2 kids. 3rd row is a scam (it's the trunk space) so either a human, grocery, stroller, or luggage (that is OR). I have the one with 2 separate seate in 2nd row and so disappointed with how small the space is!. Literally there is no trunk in this car unless you put the whole 3rd row down. Its either groceries, luggage, a stroller or our 3rd kid the 3rd row. Also getting into the driver seat is difficult, it feels tight and not enough room as your head hits the roof. There is an AC issue! Meaning the vents don't alight with your face, the air is blowing somewhere else. I hate that the AC control is all digital - can't trust technology. The car makes ALOT of engine noise when turned on - sounds like an airplane engine. I'm quite disappointed with this car honestly. I wish they would ask a mom when designing cars especially when making family cars, they can give such great feedback which I'm sure will help sell more. So bottom line, if I can go back in time I wouldn't get this car for a family of 2 toddlers and 1 teen. No space! Ohhhh and a stroller doesn't even fit let alone 2. I'm beyond disappointed unfortunately....

      I’ve sat in X7s before and they felt surprisingly cramped to me but other than that I think it’s the benchmark of 3-rows.

    The New BMW X7 has to be one of the worst looking SUVS on the market today. I would like to speak with the engineers🤢🤦‍♂️😔

    The front of this car is ugly

    You wanted that cup to fit so bad. But it tricked you and it didn't fit.. Beyond that I don't see much point in watching a 100K + "family SUV" car review. They are just not to be taken seriously. This X7 is not really spacious on the inside and black out wheels are ugly and very common nowadays. It will be a fantastic car for the first owner and a headache for owners down the road on account of insanely expensive repairs and maintenance and steep very steep resale value drop. Split tailgate is tough on dogs

      Then don’t watch it 😂 Those of us who have this vehicle as a family SUV or are in the market for one or similar with multiple children disagree and find her reviews helpful.

      @@alyssaanderson3281totally agree. I have this car and a 1 yo and a 4 yo and it fits everything we need strollers, groceries diaper bags. Including the massive Nuna car seats and stroller 😂 Tons of space. Extremely reliable and we’ve owned multiple bmws. Ours is entirely blacked out. We love it.

    Be careful, X7 is terrible for families!
