I bought the terror stamp last week and i tested it with my jamaha revstar with p 90 pick ups whooa what a good combination

It would go well with an IR loader or my GFI Cabzeus Stereo at the end of my board for a good ampless direct solution, yeah? Never been happy with most preamp pedals.

How would you make the connection to an IR loader?
@@jevonwhite5193 I would assume from one of the outputs > IR pedal? Whichever of the Terror's outputs doesn't have the cab simulation, so that rules out the headphones>out (unless it's switchable?)

Would the Stamp still sound good at low volumes for playing quitely in a flat/apartment? I read one reviewer say it sounded thin at low volumes.
Or maybe I can connect the Stamp to my audio interface, then to studio monitors, and control the volume that way
Yeah it sounds good quiet - that’s how I used it most of the time, but it definitely sounds better louder - it’s opens up a bit more and compresses a little differently.
Don’t think you can connect directly to an interface though - think of it like an amp head; it needs to be connected to a speaker.

@@jevonwhite5193 You can connect it direct to your interface via the headphone out. The headphone out has some kind of analog cab emulation going on, which is basically just clever EQ/filtering.
Hey thanks for the great video. I've got the Orange Micro Terror head. Not sure if you've used the head but with the exception of the FX Loop (which I likely wouldn't use) and the 2nd Channel Boost (I've got a boost pedal), is there much difference?
I used to have the Micro Terror but unfortunately I got rid of it just before I got the Stamp otherwise I’d have done a comparison. I think they’re pretty similar though yeah. I’ll be doing a comparison video between the Stamp and the full sized Tiny Terror soon too.
The Terror Stamp is basically the Micro Terror Dark in pedal form. So the differences in sound would be those you'd find between the Micro Terror and the Micro Terror Dark. :)

I never gigged with it, but only because of covid - I did intend to, as it’s pretty loud.
Does anyone know if you connect it into a orange crush amp from send direct to guitar input on amp, does it still use the valve inside the pedal? Anyone tried something like this or seen vid like this
rickyshoard hi, yes the valve is in the preamp so you’ll be using that when connecting from the fx send or headphone out.

@@ricblenk does de cab has to be 20w do the stamp can push it or it could be different as in watts aañnd ohms??
@@danielalonso9460 the cab needs to be a minimum of 20w (most cabs are usually more) and the ohmage needs to be 8-16

Do it! It's a really handy thing to have. I'm pretty sure that Strat is fitted with Texas Specials 👍
Does the volume boost affect the gain/distortion at all?
No, just a lift in volume, so it’s ideal for boosting for a solo section.
Is it loud on clean setting? Loud enough to gig with a drummer?
You’d struggle to keep it super clean if you’re playing with a loud drummer. You can get a nice cleanish/breaking up sound fairly loud
Get a two notes captor x - you’ll never need to worry about your cab being loud enough to get over the drummer again if you’re going DI :)! It’s e best decision I ever made. Since June I’ve done 70 gigs with a 5 watt lunchbox head and never been too quiet - some fairly big stages and rooms too. I think combining these mini amps with really good IR’s is the future.

Johan Franco ok so guitar goes into the Kemper. Then go from the output of the Kemper into the effects return of the TS. Then just a speaker cable from the TS as normal into a cab.
Can you switch from dirty to clean?
No, the footswitch is just a volume boost. So set your second volume a little higher and you can get a boost for solos. They both share the same gain and tone.
What cab are you using is it a orange 1X12 cheers
This is an Orange PPC212OB - think the 1x12 version has the same speaker though so should sound pretty much the same.
