I found your videos very helpful and informative when trying to choose my first dump trailer. It’s incredible how many choices there are when it comes to dump trailers. I found you the Diamond C to be the best in the industry and is why I just purchased my new 7x14, 32” side LPD telescopic dump. Fantastic trailer
Just purchased a new Diamond C dump trailer - Not sure of the presenter's name - but these innovations are awesome and I encourage you to continue. Great attitude and presentation of features. Thank you for your work. Keep it up guys!
For someone in lawn and landscape, what wall height would recommend for someone that primarily hauls: 1. Leaves 2. Mulch 3. Decorative Stone Alternatively, if I wanted higher sides, I've seen people build up walls with plywood or lumber to make a leaf cleanup trailer with a Billy Goat.
Are there any plans for Diamond C to get into building roll off dumpsters like the PJ Rollster? I feel like the quality of Diamond C is above average and that would be a very good business investment to get into.
Thank you for the compliment Adam! We have been looking at entering the roll off market but it will be a while yet before we take the plunge as we have many other ongoing projects on the board at the moment.
@@diamondctrailers That’s great news! Can’t wait to see what else is coming! A friend of mine has a dumpster rental business with dump trailers and he just got into roll-off’s. I wish there was a Diamond C dealer close to Albany NY so I could convince him they would be the better choice for the business.
It would’ve been really helpful to give us true measurements from the ground to the tops of the sidewalls, for bucket/ grapple heights on various machines.
I need a 16ft dump trailer here in South Texas with 30" sides or so. I can't decide on bumper pull or gooseneck, what would you recommend pros and cons.
Hey Jacob, great video! Any word on when the flip up winch mount and black composite deck boards will be available to order on the LPX equipment trailers? I’m getting close to ordering my dream trailer from Diamond C, thanks man!
Is that a 3/16” floor plate option in the video at 5:03? If so, how do I order it with my dealer? Between my local dealer and a Diamond C rep I spoke with earlier, neither one knows how to order it. Any help would be grateful.
With tall walls, you can carry everything. A low wall trailer cant take much light stuff. I have 60" sides on a 24k triple axle. I can haul anything, and a lot of it. When hauling mulch, filled to the top is 14k lbs. I need a bigger trailer!
Well done video, but you forgot the WDT, Lol. My dumps get a serious work out, with a lot of driveway cinder spreads. The tail gate strength is really important here, when you pre-stage the bed. I would like to see more door hinges on the taller sides, drop the spreader chain to the bottom of the tail gate and two s-cam locks. Since DC is always coming up with first's, I would like a faster dump system, they are all soooo slow. I see no reason why two big batteries couldn't power a higher volume pump. I assume the Honda powered systems ($$) might be faster but mostly out of my reach.
Hi Nick! Jacob here - Thank you for the valuable feedback! I probably should have covered the WDT but didn’t hit it since it doesn’t really have any side options outside of the standard 44” sides besides the Raised Front and Board Bracket option. We are working dump system optimization as we speak 👌. The Honda systems aren’t much quicker really and in some cases slower due to being gravity down only. The benefit with those are just rugged reliability IPO battery driven units. Thanks again!!
Great question! For example the upgrade is $616 MSRP on a 14’ long LPT with standard 24” sides. Price for the option will vary by trailer length and side height selection. MSRP pricing is available at www.diamondc.com. Thank you!
What is the longevity like on the white DM trailers that you've seen? I'm sure they show rust and dirt a lot more than the gray or black for example but I can't get past how good they look especially with a stained oak deck. Will there be an alcoa option for the single wheel trailers at some point as well? The black looks really nice in contrast but the alcoas would really make it pop. Thanks!
You are spot on! White does show more as you mentioned but that’s where the difference stops. It’s long term performance is up to the same rigorous standards as the rest of the DM Coatings colors. Yes, there will be a single wheel Alcoa option at some point! We agree the aluminum is 👌👌.
You can get 44” sides - if you need a few more inches than 44” you can get the 6” Raised front with board bracket option putting you at 50”. With how the dump body is designed - 7Ga is only available in the 7Ga Super Duty Body option which is floor and sides.

Piękne wykonanie projektu oraz wielu funkcyjność takich przyczep . Trzeba wejść na rynek Polski i europy takiej wersji w naszym kraju niema .

How much more weight does a 7g add to a trailer than a 10g?
Only about 300lbs on a 14’ with 24” sides.
Are the DET trailers 22 feet long coming out with an engineered beam frame soon?
Would the 44" side be ok for hauling logs?
Yes!
Do you guys sell Direct
Can you put a 2x12 on the 3 ft high dump on that slip in lumber bracket?
You can - it will just stick out of the top of the bracket by about 6”.
@@diamondctrailers
I see basically meant for a 2x6..no chance you can make 1 for a 2x12?
