That is a great question! We thought we knew the answer but we wanted to be sure so we reached out to Sherwin Williams and this is what they said- “The pigments have no bearing on corrosion resistance or durability between each color. We also use super durable pigments in all of your colors for good UV protection against fading as well.” Thanks!
The bumper pull dump in the Cement Gray shown in the video, is that 44” side? What’s your powder coat process if one elects to get different color fenders?
That one is 32” sides. 👍 Check out the DM coating system video at ruclips.net/video/ATkg8XyTLPM/видео.html for the run down on our powder coating process.
Great question Timothy! On our website you can “Build Your Own” dump trailer with each model. www.diamondc.com/trailers/dump/ Then you can turn it in to 1-3 dealers for quote at the end. Availability will vary by the dealership. We do some custom work beyond the available options on the website - you would just work with the dealer on any additional requests and they could vet it out with their DC account manager. Thanks!

Are the standard colors a free option? I wanted the Cement grey, and was told there was a $500 upcharge from the dealer. So I settled for the "free" black.
Hey there! Cement Grey should not be an up charge. The 8 standard colors are no charge - the 5 specialty colors plus any color match requests are an up charge. Maybe the Cement Grey color trailer the dealer was quoting had other options that were cause for the $500? Hope this helps! 👍
Great question! Due to the nature of powder coat and the production process two tone would be really difficult. However we do offer an accent package on trailers with bolt on fenders where we do the fenders black on a colored trailer. It looks pretty sharp!

Can't wait to get my MDT dump trailer. Just ordered it with the 32" sides in industrial orange with raised boards 💪🏽🇺🇸
The. Black and. White looks retro
Jeez that mocha looks good🔥
Wow look at all those new GTF's waiting to go out, they look sweet.
Love that Diamond C blue! Great for theft protection too, who else is gonna have a bright blue equipment trailer? 😂
I was. Floored literally on how. You guys. Put. The wood on trailers
Great colors, you get a bright one and nobody will steal it cause you will find it.
so glad to see this video of the color out on the lot give you good ideal how they look thanks
Yea I love my CHT. It's white and looks good going down the road. I've seen alot of Diamond C trailers in my area doing work..
White is super sharp looking with the black wheels. After wear & rust sets in, the white will show the damage more especially with dump trailer abuse.
Does each pigment wear differently? Do the pigments affect how robust the coating is over the life of the trailer?
That is a great question!

For a custom color option can we provide a color code to get something you guys don’t provide?
I bet. Jacob. Gets a lot of. Steps in throughout the the day
can we get this, but with temp readings on a hot day in the sun?
Do you sell directly to individuals???? Excellent color video btw..... your trailers are absolutely excellent!!:)
Thank you! We don’t sell direct - only through our dealer network. You can find your nearest dealer at www.diamondc.com/find-a-dealer
How thick is your board of your 40ft hotshot trailer?
Would like to see some custom colors that you have done and how much extra does it cost?

@@diamondctrailers Got it thanks, I’ll check it out.
Lastly, can I order 7’ or 8’ ramps for an upcharge?
@@harleyhoracio1 On LPT we could accommodate that on a custom basis 👍.

Thank you for sharing
is it possible to design a dump trailer to a persons specs?
Yes, you can. I just picked all of my specs at my local dealer. Will take 3 months to get it.

Would Diamond C ever do a 2 tone paint option?

@@diamondctrailers ok Thanks. I was thinking tractor green and yellow (I.e. John Deere)
@@johnkolbjr8375 ahh we can do tractor green with yellow pin stripes 👌
@@diamondctrailers good to know. Is there something special I have to let my dealer know to get that?
@@johnkolbjr8375 Just specify it when ordering and you are good to go!
