As you said, I charge my car pretty much at the same time I charge my phone... When I'm asleep. I've had my EV6 for nearly 3 years now and in the 36000 miles of driving I've only charged it around 9% on a rapid charger, info from my OBD monitor. The EV6 charges so quickly on a rapid that I often don't have time to eat my food on a driving break.
I’ve had a EV6 since last February and it’s changed how I feel about driving. Electric motors are the future, Efficient ICE engines are great for generating power for the electric motors. Take it from the Railroads, that have been using electric motors to drive the trains since they quit using coal fired steam engines.
I've been driving Kia/Hyundai for almost 20 years and currently drive a Kona EV. I don't believe in getting software updates for the sake of getting software updates. There should be a reason such as a new feature or bug fixes and it needs to be thoroughly tested and go through QA. When developers have to meet a deadline is when you get all the problems. I'd rather they take their time and get it right.
All of sudden my ipedel mode become weak and end up using breaks more frequently (almost every time) to slowdown vehicle on local roads. Whole family used to love ipedel driving, it was so convenient specially in local driving (lot of signals and slow traffic). Now this feature become useless, feels like driving normal gas car 😞 Anyone else facing similar issue, is this because of latest software update or some faulty sensor? Any idea. Thank you.
