Nice review but just to correct one important point. This car is built in China. The Ghent, Belgium plant will not be on line until mid 2025.

Could the glovebox button be 'moved' to somewhere that isn't hidden in a menu? If there's not going to be a physical button it should be as easy to access as possible.

Excited that Volvo FIANLLY brought this to the US...and it's much smaller than I anticipated.

According to the owners manual, this truck has substandard plugs. Page 102 reveals that the outlets only put out 400 watts, far less than what’s necessary to run most jobsite power tools. It will charge batteries, and not much else. I found this out by accident after the sale. I complained. I want, and expected standard plugs in my WORK TRUCK. I asked if this could be fixed, no response. I asked why such pertinent information was not disclosed. Was this Chevys idea of a “surprise” for lower income folks that can’t afford to fight back? I asked victory Chevrolet for my money back, no, so far. I think withholding important information like this is fraud. So if you can’t afford the RST, DONT buy this thing. You’ll be stuck with it just like I am. It’s disturbing how far company policy has strayed from honesty and integrity.

Great review guys. Lots of similarities with our Blazer EV. The remote folding rear seats and separate controls for seat back and bottom heaters are some nice differences.

the key card is available for 2025 models, I got mine and it works to lock/unlock and start the car

Well… looks like Tesla caught on and disabled the ability of using a "fake" ID. The good news is that Kia adapters are now being sent to dealers so the ability to Supercharge will likely be authorized soon.

I drive a Tesla so not worried, I don't ever charge at a non Tesla supercharger

I just did the same experiment at a brand new Supercharger 3 site, same result. Tesla display says “no connection” and shuts off. Using A2Z Typhoon adapter.

I was watching a video recently and they said Ford was finishing production of the current Lightning in 2027 and there was no model scheduled after it. Have you guys heard anything about this?

Are Kia and Hyundai officially supported and supposed to work but they've stopped working or are they unsupported and the hack to make them work stopped working?

Research a little more, the battery pre-conditionning just needs to be activated and it'll activate automatically when you select a charger in your destination (just saying as an owner of an Ioniq 6). Don't need data for that but it's too bad you can't tell it to do it on demand... you have to plan a route to a charger with the navigation.

I wonder where those test vehicles will end up. I want to buy the NASA one lol

Seems backwards to do. Just hurts Kia EV drivers who are paying customers.

I charged an EV6 on Tuesday (on V4 post too.) . You need to use the ioniq 5 with the adapter to locatev the station on the map and select the charger to initiate charging. Tesla id's your car by its VIN and if it allows the model to charge it works. Evidently they have removed KIA's Vin list from allowed vehicles.

Well..,that didn’t last long!!
