Ryan L I’m the same! But I’ve ended up buying an 8 string set, and using half the 8 set to get me more tension and I still want more haha! That being said I’m a sucker for thick strings!
Hi there! Quick question from a noob. If you have a guitar with such scale, can you still play it in standard tuning or does the scale automatically obliges you to play 1 or 2 tones lower?
Hey! you could still play at normal tuning, although you may want to use lighter strings. The longer scale creates more tension, so if you use your normal string gauge and normal tuning, the strings will feel very tight and will be hard to bend. So if you want a long scale, but to play at normal tuning then going one gauge of string lighter will be ok in most cases. That being said, the whole point of long neck guitars, is to get to a lower tuning with more stability. Hope that helps!
I mean you can hear them in the demo haha! I ended up selling this through lack of use, so never got a chance to change them but I would have if I was going to keep the guitar. They are fine, but nothing special. Workable though!
Your souns is pretty heavy and well mixed, I was amazed to be honest. however it goes through alot of processing so I cannot really draw a conclusion. How does it sound when you dont use your picking hand (tapping and sweeping without picking) did they have hard time outputting sufficient voltage or was it smooth?
@@giorgitsintsadze9919 So processing wise the guitars were into an amp sim, then straight to the master bus. On the master bus there is gentle compression 2db usually tops, and mastering EQ about 2db cut or boost max, so what you hear is very close to what the sound from the amp sim is, minimal difference I'd say. Their output was ok, not super high though, if anything a touch low compared to what you would expect! I don't tap or sweep though, I only use the first 3 frets, 4 if i'm feeling brave haha!
this guitar is so damn gorgeous
Very good review! Great job, man 👍
Great video, mate! Subscribed 👌
Thanks dude!
Ah good stuff man. I love mine. Have it in A standard and sometimes drop it to G
I feel I need a custom gauge for it, even with 26.5" scale I would like more tension!
Kai Sound oh yeah. I prefer the Ernie Ball strings

Kai Sound haha I’ll have to try that too maybe. I have 7 string cobalt strings on my Gio
Ryan L think the cobalts have a thicker gauge than standard? Will need to look into them!

I can hear some certain bulbs influences in your writing :)
Oh man for sure, periphery are pretty much my favourite band. They are musical geniuses!
any chance that intro riff was inspired by periphery’s reptile? sounds incredible
Sauce Lord hey! I don’t think it was, but it may have been! Got the guitar the day after Hail Stan came out, so who knows!!
Kai Sound absolutely brutal for sure
Are stock pickups any good? I have ibanez rga42fm nice neck and all but pickups are the most generic and I really need to make sure what I am getting

Is it worth buying this guitar and putting Pickups Bare Knuckle Juggernaut?
I would say so yes. I think its a solid guitar, and a pickup switch would make it a bit more special. Its my plan at least!
@@kaisound868 Coool, thanks dude! :)
Whats the tunning?
Patryk Rostkowski I think it’s drop G but not 100% sure at this stage. Pretty sure drop G though!
