There are quite a few Fleetwood Mac Tribute bands. One of them called Rumours ATL is quite good. Not because they have a singer that sounds like Stevie Nicks, which she does, but because they have a pianist/singer who emulates Christie. The band actually festures Christie's music more then most tribute band that primarily feature Stevie and relegate Christie's music as secondary filler. When most fans think of Fleetwood Mac they only think of Buckingham/Nicks and that's what they want to hear.
Christie's music was always wonderful. I haven't heard much of her solo work or her album with Lindsey but I'm sure there are many more musical gems to discover.

The breakup of Stevie and Lindsey resulted in some of Fleetwood Mac’s greatest work, including their only #1 hit, Dreams. There is a video from 2004 of a live performance in Boston on PBS of them doing Landslide, just Stevie singing and Lindsey on guitar, no other instruments. Watching this video there is no doubt that the love they shared never really died, unfortunately they are just 2 people who could not make their relationship work. Very worth the watch.

As Nicks recalled it: "I wrote Silver Springs about Lindsey. And we were in Maryland somewhere driving under a freeway sign that said Silver Springs (sic), Maryland. And I loved the name… Silver Springs sounded like a pretty fabulous place to me. And you could be my silver springs - that's just a whole symbolic thing of what you could have been to me."

I think you cut off the end of the video right before Lindsey and Stevie embraced if my memory serves. Stevie has never lost her love for Lindsey Buckingham. That's what all those RUMOURS songs were about.
When this concert aired in 1997, this was the debut live performance of Silver Springs I believe, even though it was written in 1977 (left off the album).
This entire concert from 1997 is an INCREDIBLE CONCERT. It was a reunion of the Classic Fleetwood Mac after years of breakup, lineup changes etc. They sing EVERY great FM song in stellar sound and visuals. You could go through the whole concert and you will be blown away. And I don't think you've even reacted to songs that Christine McVie sings lead vocals on>>she doesn't just play piano and backing vocals.
Plus, the last 2 songs of the concert are big surprises and very cool.

Drummer Mick Fleetwood was in the stew as well but he and Stevie parted fondly . Christine McVie (bass player John) wrote some pretty songs about her time with Dennis Wilson of Beach Boys post Manson family madness. Stevie called Joe Walsh of the Eagles the Great love of her life but their cocaine addiction destroyed that and he left to survive. She wrote "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" which she called her most committed song. Its about them and a trip to a park favored by his 3 yr old daughter Emma who died in a car accident. He put in an undersized fountain "for Emma and all others too small to get a drink". They joke if you can remember the 60s you weren't there , the 70s was a black hole of indulgence for many.

If you react to other Fleetwood Mac songs with Stevie or Lindsey on lead, they will always look at each other while singing. They have always done it while performing

Lindsey and Stevie will always be musical soul mates. I don't think their solo music compares to their work together in Fleetwood Mac. Both bring out the best in each other musically.

Now you need to show Christine McVie some love.
I suggest either the live version of Over and Over from the 1980 live album or Brown Eyes from Tusk. Then you could do Oh Daddy from Rumours.
    This one was good.

Steivie and Lindsey were a couple several years before Mick Fleetwood recruited Lindsey to be their lead guitarist. Lindsey insisted Stevie join the band as well and the rest is history.

She also got in a fight with mick Fleetwood I believe because he wouldn’t let her have the song for her album. So they held the song hostage. So much drama in this band but they thrived in it. Amazing music.

Great reaction!😊If you can find any Buckingham/Nicks music, it’s just so good! It’s Stevie & Lindsey and pretty sure that they only made one album. The whole album is great, Frozen Love is a favorite. I haven’t seen anyone react to Buckingham/Nicks before.
    You won’t be disappointed!☺️

You should listen to the chain. It's written by all of them and is about their dedication to the band being what kept them together. Everyone seems to forget that Christine and John McVie were breaking up at the same time. You can hear the heartbreak 💔 of that in many of the songs Christine wrote.

Mick Fleetwood the drummer is the leader of the group, he once had an affair with Stevie Nicks hence her bust up with Lyndsey Buckingham. The late Christine McVie the lady on the keyboard was originally into classical music as her father was a leading violinist and music teacher. She was once a member of a blues band called “Chicken Shack”, she was a co-writer of some of their songs, her maiden name then was Christine Perfect.
She was married to the bass player John McVie from Fleetwood Mac at one time which is when she joined the group. Eight of the songs she either wrote or co-wrote were on Fleetwood Mac’s Greatest Hits album in 1988, “Don’t Stop” and “Songbird” were two of her songs from “Rumours.”
“Got a Hold on Me” is a good song from her, well worth watching.

Hi ❣️ You guys should listen to "Cook with Fire" (studio recording)by Heart. Fleetwood Mac has a hundred awesome songs. Lindsey Buckingham has a great solo catalog, too. The best live performance I've seen by LB is "Big Love/Go Insane Live" posted by A Place in Time. These songs are FIRE and after the first song, he recites a poem. It is special. He's amazing.

Saw them at MSG during "The Dance" tour, everyone watched in silence during this song, no less emotion that night either. Another written for Lyndsey with a similar softer Stevie vibe that did make onto the album is “Landslide” (also worth watching the live version from 1997 during the same tour).

Stevie's voice is deeper and more experienced in the latter years. I have always loved the Rumors album. I think The Dance, their reunion album is my favorite.
Silver Springs was released December 20th 1976, on the Rumors album.

Stevie wrote this in the middle of all of the turmoil and break up. Silver Springs was originally slated to be included on the Rumors album, but ultimately got bumped. 20(ish) years later the song was broadcast live and those of us who were around for the original 70's drama have never, ever gotten over it. I knew she was pissed, but I was astounded at how pissed she still was after all of those years! Stevie is an absolute Queen!
