Exactly the comparison I was looking for. Got so confused with the slightly different blue ones, especially under different light conditions in photos. Thank you!!
I picked up the 001 from my regular AD on the rubber here in the UK for 5500 dollars all in with our high 20% tax rate included and got them to throw in the croc navy strap as well which I think is 400 dollars from Omega. Arrives tomorrow and can’t wait. For me it’s a no brainer to save so much money and have almost an identical watch compared to the newer ones.
I'm with you here, Brad. These are all excellent: I'm surprised that you didn't mention the jumping hour facility that the 89XX movements feature. To me in the UK this is really useful. Thanks for this Brad, have a good weekend and keep 'em coming! Cheers, Bob 🍻
Great comparison, Brad. The Aqua Terra is an excellent watch that doesn’t get as much love as some of the others. It’s definitely a sleeper watch for it’s value. The butterfly clasp is different from the other Seamaster clasps, but extremely comfortable and secure with the added bonus of seeing more links and less clasp. All three are excellent choices, and if I recall, the strap on the bluer face dials is also more blue. Of the 3, my preference is the blue Seamaster and accents.
Great review, thank you. I just purchased the slate blue dial with blue seconds hand. Loved the blue Seamaster script as well. Main reason for my decision was versatility - I can pair the slate blue dial with either blue, grey or light blue straps and it easily adapts. I think it's just a little more versatile, although your observation about legibility is correct, the slate I think is slightly less legible but still awesome. Also... I have my eye on the blue dial in red gold someday, lol... nice job again on the review!
Think there is a chance of them coming out with the blue-accent version as a 38? Really have my eye on that one and the white/orange. Unfortunately the are 41 only at the moment.
Hi Does the 001 have transparent case back? 001 and 004 have around $2000 AUD difference so I was wondering what that $2k delta corresponds to? Thanks. Great comparison.
The 001 must be on its way out, because it is meaningfully cheaper in other overseas markets too - in Japan, for example, it is listed at over USD 1,500 cheaper than the other two models, and can be had for less than USD 5,000 on the rubber strap at the current exchange rate, before even considering any duty-free benefits for non-residents.
Way too many color variations in this collection, Omega needs to get their act together and streamline their offering. They can't even release last year 38mm colorful AT without giving a reasonnable explanation on the delays, the way this business operates feels very amateurish to me. No Speedmaster 57 or Ultra Deep PO at my AD also, big L for the company as far as I am concerned.
@@dandahl5964 what's wrong with too many choices? you confuse the buyers and you don't create desirability for these models, which is why all those Aqua Terras tank to the bottom of the ocean the minute you leave your AD with the watch. And there is a massive difference between Omega and Rolex supply and how they operate. Rolex doesn't want to compromise on the quality of their products so the demand always outweighs the offer. Meanwhile Omega last year releases are still unicorns in the wild, you don't even see them popping on the secondary market. I believe Omega has massive supply chain problems or quality control issues, which is why they are not disclosing any information to the media nor their AD partners. Very concerning for a major watch brand to not be able to deliver in a timely (see what I did there) fashion.
Slate gray looks amazing

Thanks for viewing and hope it helped!

I went with the silver dial with blue hands and blue rubber strap. Cant go wrong with any of these
I always pause and take a second look at the blued indices model.

Thanks for the comparison, Brad. I’m getting close to adding either an Aqua Terra or a 300M to go along with the Speedy.
the 001 for sure, i like the blue highlights but not the blue seconds hand.
Just bought all dark blue, first one. It’s an eye catching. Got my eyes on the all good one, it’s a baller watch.
Congrats, enjoy wearing it!

Congrats, enjoy wearing yours! Thanks for viewing too.
I got that as well. has not left my wrist in 2 years. great choice.
Middle one - I have one and love it 😍
I love it too
I hv the slate grey dial with blue seconds hand on a stainless steel bracelet… great watch!
It's a good one, enjoy wearing it!

$6300 list price on the bracelet as of September 23. SO they have raised the price twice this year? Wow
Unfortunately that is the state of affairs on new watch pricing.
For me it's the blue with silver Seamaster script.
The rubber strap is like butta.. I feel so veclempt..middle one all the way.

Great comparison.
All shown have transparent casebacks. Pricing isn't nearly that different in US.

The retail price of these is really going out of control
Yea these are almost as much as a datejust or Explorer . I feel that this is one area where Omega wins outright.
@@Bemjji because this is better than rolex
Hi, what is your wrist width? Mine is 2inch and I'm deciding between 38 or 41. Thank you.
Right about 2" as well. Measured it roughly between 5-5.5cm.
@brentmillertime8778 thanks a lot for the reply.
41mm way too big for my 17,5 cm wrist!
I have 17,5 wrist size and 41mm fits good
No micro adjust on a 6K watch. C’mon Omega…..that is unacceptable.
No micro adjust on 10k watches. No micro adjust on 30k watches. No micro adjust on 100k watches. No micro adjust on 1M watches. 🤔
The first

Whats wrong with choices other than making it harder to decide?
As for be unavailable, do you call rolex amateurish as well?

Does the 20mm bracelet taper to 18mm at the clasp ?
Yes, 18mm at clasp.
