I'm rewatching this as I just picked up the Aqua Terra white and Orange, and I own the white ceramic Seamaster. The Aqua Terra is more elegant but still retains the sport watch DNA. Extremely happy to own them both. Cheers!

I picked up my Omega Seamaster 300 with the white dial on Monday. I could not be happier, Nato strap incoming. Omega are consistently underrated and that's okay with me, means I can pick up a watch without the wait.

Wrist check: Longines Dolce Vita with Roman numerals and a blue strap.

I have just traded my seamaster 300 for the aqua terra. Very happy with my choice but I do miss my seamaster. It’s a lovely watch.

I think if you’re going to own multiple watches then go for the 300m. If you can only own 1 watch to suit every occasion then go for the Aqua Terra

    Great comparison, thank you!

The Aqua Terra and SMP 300 are two totally different categories. The AT is a GADA. For the office, dressy or for leisure activities in t-shirt and jeans suitable. Whereas the SMP 300 is a full sports watch and in my opinion only for free time and the holidays suitable. Although James Bond is wearing the SMP with a suit I would rather take the AT for that. The AT vs SMP300 is comparable to Rolexes Datejust vs Submariner. Datejust as a GADA in the configuration with the smoothed bezel and oyster steel bracelet and the Submariner as a Sportswatch for the freetime. You wouldn’t throw that in one pot, too.

Nice review of 2 great watches. I might have hankered after them a while ago but I’m sat here wearing my Oris Aquis and have a Longines Conquest in my watch box and am very happy with them.

I think both are considered very good candidates for a do anything watch. I'd prefer the SM300's ceramic bezel for better scratch and dent protection, if I wear the AT it's gonna look 10 years old fairly quickly, I'm already quite careful with my watches but somehow they still get a 1000 scratches from nowhere after a month or so 😂

This is fastly becoming one of my favourite watch channels! Wrist check, tissot Seastar chronograph (white dial) given to my dad in 1969 (with case back engraved)

Great comparison, i have the Omega white SMP 300 on the no time to die nato which is a nice change from the bracelet. Currently wearing a Tudor GMT on the leather.. both Omega’s are great to be fare but i prefer the rugged look an feel as don’t much reason for dressy watches.

Great images today 👌. These aren't watches I would gravitate towards ordinarily but I would chose the Seamaster here. I feel the Aqua Terra has an anemic look which is probably caused by the lack of bezel not giving a contrast of colour. Maybe a different colour Aqua Terra would of changed my mind?

I've considered the Seamaster multiple times. The first time I ended up with tne Speedmaster instead (I'd always wanted one). Then I considered the SMP again but started looking at the dressier watches. With the dressy ones, I looked at the AT with the white dial, but there was something about the hour markers that didn't float my boat. I decided to look at the Globemaster as an alternative to the AT. I tried it on once, and that was it. It's subtle, and unstated, which is what I wanted.

I have both Omegas, the Aqua Terra on bracelet and the Seamaster 300 on the rubber strap. The Aqua Terra is definitely more dressy, and the bracelet is fantastic. The Seamaster 300 is I believe much more sporty; I didn’t get the bracelet on the 300 as I think the bracelet is too chunky. All depends on what you’re wearing and the day ahead. I’m wearing a Sinn 104 white dial on fine link bracelet.

Have a seamaster 300 heritage on the wrist today. Great comparative video. I would lean to the AT overall - for the white dial however maybe the diver. Going to look at the AT blue face on blue rubber strap today. Keep up the good work

I have the white SMP300 and the 41mm AT with black dial. I use my AT as a dress/weekend watch. The SMP300 is my daily driver

I have the grey dial/blue markers 41mm AT with the blue rubber strap. Just got it last week and love it. My next is going to be the SeaMaster 300m black with Sedna gold. Love them both

Wearing omega seamaster 300m black on rubber. Debating if I want to buy the green AT. I wonder if the marker for 300m is because of ISO 6425 where there needs to be a lume marker to be considered a diver

Although today I have a Grand Seiko GMT on today, I own an AT - steel/gold with rubber strap and the NTTD titanium Seamaster 300. For me the AT is a great casual/dressy and the NTTD is the go anywhere, look good.

Great comparison and fellow 300m white dial owner. On my wrist is a Bremont Alt1-C Griffon
