The subject of this video seems obvious to me but it's amazing how few hair stylists (at least the ones I've encountered) don't understand that concept of compression! I always leave a salon with poofy, matted and product FILLED hair simply because they don't know how to tame my thick curly hair. Hi Sam. Years ago I had a fabulous redkin colorist but I have since moved. My hair is naturally a level 8. We did a base color with highlights. To get me close to blonde with layers of dimension as well. I am now back with a redkin colorist but I'm trying to explain how my old colorist did my hair. It was a slice with a weave. Does that make sense? Old stylist technique was not like any one I ever had seen do. I hate the technique where you can see stripes. There where bigger section of blonde I guess that's from the slicing? Does this make any sense?
