Yes Please, I would love to see how to curl hair with a flat iron. btw your my fav hair channel to watch, You have helped me with my braiding it looks so much neater, Like My Fish tail and French to.
+Jess M lol it's crazy because this is how I talk all the time, to me it's so normal that I don't think anything of it, and everyone else always thinks it's funny! 😂 But for real though, don't put it on the devils temperature!
Sweet! Thanks for the tip about heat. I'm BF and always thought more heat better results. I'm training on manaking while growing my hair out. Thanks for the videos.
+Stacey Ann Chevalier thank you very much! I figure, even though I'm working on a mannequin, the techniques taught need to be suited for a live person, as most of us would be doing this on a live person😊😊 Thank you so much for watching!
I absolutely live u Linwood!!! I love all of your videos. They are very informative. And most importantly I love listening to you talk. I can listen to you talk all day everyday. Thank you so much for your tutorials.
That's the perfect tutorial for me I really didn't know you could create a look by ironing. lol I'm kinda old and not real fashionable but that hair is PERFECT
This is the best tutorial video I have seen todate without tons of smoke coming from the hair. I was told if there's no smoke then the hair is not flat ironed properly.
+Katherine Jones thank you! This is actually an old video from somewhere around December or January! I found it in my camera and was like 😳 I never edited this! My adopted son cut it for me! 👍🏽
GlamFam thank you so much for the tutorial...It Is So Appreciated! You're Detailed And Patient...You Actually Kept My Attention! Learning How To Flat Iron Is Really Important To Me...Since I No Longer Want Chemicals In My Hair! Keep Up The Great Work!😊😊😊
+Erika Hilliard awesome! I'm glad I could help! I plan on doing a few more flat ironing tutorials for waves, crimps, and various types of curls as well! 👍🏽😊
Absolutely love your videos and you truly have a gift. Yes, I would love for you to make a detail video on how to curl shoulders length hair with a flat iron and the proper way to wrap it. Thank you!
Hi! Love your videos. After blow drying what's best to use on my hair to keep the hold? I live in the mid-west and the humidity here won't allow my hair to keep its curl.
I would love to see a video with curling with a flat iron, I think you channel is magnificent. Keep all the good stuff coming. I learn so much from watching. Thanks a bunch 😀
"Went to town on the devils temperature" 😂😂 You are so amazing!!! Yes, We would love for you to do a detailed tutorial on how to curl hair with a flat iron. Where are you located ? I needed your hands through my head two tutorials ago lol! Your Mother is absolutely Blessed!! She has her own personal stylist!!
Yessss the devils temperature😂 new terminology for the heat settings clients should never use! Always adore your vids, thank you for the gift that is your channel❤️
You are absolutely the best.yes I need to see the different techniques for flatironing and curling the hair, greatly appreciated, and thanks, very interested.
Honey, I love your job in this video. You are the best youtube channel tutorial so far. I wanna ask for a tutirial about how to brushing hear, cause I just know nothing about that and I will love to see how to curling hear with a flat iron as well xoxo
Yes pleeeease show curling with a flat iron videos. I have a stand, head and a 360 body wave (that looks straight) with body wave bundles that I'm itching to get together ( I sewed it all in) but I'm scared because they cost a pretty penny lol. I seen several of your children's hair videos, a wifey wig video (Excellent job with the detangle wash n set) and now this 1. I have a whole storage crate of curly, wavy and straight wigs that are now (as you've said) orphans lol. I haven't seen anyone else on youtube that I would even ask. Your work is Awesome.
I love the Bio Ionic 10x. I use it on all hair types. I don’t care for the flat irons that come in the kits for Cosmetology school. I went to Paul Mitchell. The flat iron that I got with my kit is fairly new because I already had their titanium one. The starter flat irons actually work because I helped some students when they had clients and that’s all they had. I never thought about it but I might do a giveaway.
Thank you for sharing this... You are very talented...Wonderful TUTORIAL.. Can you show how to care for the hair after the straighting. Sometimes when I straighten my hair a few days after my hair sheds
I neeeed to learn how to curl with a flat iron!!! Please do a vid! Also, what brand and size of flat iron would you recommend for home use? Annnnd what can I do to save my hairline? It’s thinning...☹️ from years of weaving (don’t do it anymore) and aging too, I think. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Lin!💕
Would you add a heat protectant before you blow dry and then flat iron? Or, would you add the heat protectant before flat ironing only? Also do you add the Heat Protector to the entire head or do you put it on each section as you flat iron?
Your client is very patient! LOL How many passes through the flat iron for each section of hair is safe? Is 330 degrees a good temperature? Thank you for sharing this video...
Love your video! You have tips not seen elsewhere. ALSO, have a question, when I had my hair done the hairdresser was using the flat iron at a 90 angle to my face. I gots lots o poof! That Is better flattened to my head. When I tried to copy her technique at home it flips my ends? Thank You For Everything, JH
+A Ward it depends on the fabric of hair. In some instances, kinky hair is more fine and actually requires less heat. It varies based on the thickness of the individual strands more than it does on the coil pattern of the hair.
+GlamFam mine seems to be closest to what people are describing as 3C or 4C and it is very thick and has not been straighten in about a year possibly more; seems to poof quickly
+GlamFam yes sir thank you very much, I will definitely try it; just got through detangling it and putting a mixture of coconut oil and peppermint oil and enjoying the tingle on my scalp
Where does your school get their clamps from? I heard you move that baby forward and could hear how tight it was, but it didn't pop off the table!!! Mine do that all the time.
👍🏾great per usual! What products would you recommend to fight summer heat and humidity. Seems like I flat iron, step outside into summer humidity and my curls are instantly gone. 😔 I use Garnier Frutis (sp?) Humidity Fighter but that product seems sticky.
+Kendall Norman I'm actually not a huge fan of that line for various reasons, but I will tell you this: The best way to fight humidity is with your moisture balance. Using a richly moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, following up with a moisturizing leave in, and then glazed with a small amount of a smoothing serum usually does the trick quite nicely! 👍🏽❤️
Hi Lynnwood! love your videos! I am a mom who has not taken any type of classes on hair care/hair styling. I have 2 daughters who are biracial 10 and 4. My 4 year old is still in pony/pig tails and bows or i let it stay out and curly with a headband! My 10 year old however has natural, long (mid back length hair ) hair and it is thick with a tight curl and likes it that way but has discovered she likes it straightened! She has had it flat ironed twice at a salon. She loves it but it can become pricey. I have tried to do it myself but noticed 1.-it didn't get as straight as at the salon and 2-it did it stay for as long. I dont want to damage her hair. Do you have any tips or suggestions on what blow dryer and flat iron to get for home use as well as what products to use to keep her hair healthy, shiny and straight for at least 2 weeks so I don't have to repeat the process and potentially damage her hair?
I am a new subbie and would love to see a video on how to cut layers. I am in the process on making my on wig and would like a layered look to it. Do you have a tutorial on wig making?Just saw like a gazillion wig making tutorial from you. Thanks for all the useful information.
Great video, you made that haircut work lol, TFS! Can you please tell me what flat iron temperature you'd recommend for kinky hair? I have kinky "type 4" hair with *a lot* of strands, but the strands are fine. I've been using 410, but I'm afraid that'll damage it because of how fine my strands are. Is that a good temp, or should I lower/raise it?
+Nisai Gibbs keep it moisturized, to tons of twisted styles, natural updos, braids, or protective styling are typically the way to go. Try not to use too much heat if you are trying not to mess up your curl pattern.
I like the way he is so kind and the way he said "This cut is interesting." Instead of making a negative comment just a kind man. Very nice video very helpful!

Thank you for sharing this great video Lindwood. I can tell that you’re a great hairdresser 😊
after binge watching ur videos I got up and did my hair👍
Yes pleeeease show curling with a flat iron videos. I have a stand, head and a 360 body wave (that looks straight) with body wave bundles that I'm itching to get together ( I sewed it all in) but I'm scared because they cost a pretty penny lol.

Love the finished look!!
Thank you dear!
hi.. before ironing did u prep the hair with holding mousse or something
What's the best product to use on freshly washed relax hair before u flat iron
Linwood, would you do a review on the Grip Comb attachment? I value your opinion. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this... You are very talented...Wonderful TUTORIAL.. Can you show how to care for the hair after the straighting. Sometimes when I straighten my hair a few days after my hair sheds
Thank you for sharing. You made me laugh with the devil's temperature! Love your hairstyle by the way. Blessings as always x

Omg! You cut your hair! Nice cut. Thanks for this lesson.
Good job as usual.
Thanks! I haven’t cut my hair though, this video is like 2 years old 😊💚
I would love to see a curling video because you do great work and your skills are on point
+Tricia M thank you very much!
Hey, where are those wrist bands found? Thanks 😀
Is there any prep prior to blow drying? Like heat protectant or some other product? Is it best to flat iron on completely clean hair?
I neeeed to learn how to curl with a flat iron!!! Please do a vid! Also, what brand and size of flat iron would you recommend for home use? Annnnd what can I do to save my hairline? It’s thinning...☹️ from years of weaving (don’t do it anymore) and aging too, I think. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Lin!💕
I would love to see more of learning how to flat iron. Love your channel & tutorials ❤
Nicely done thanks for sharing. Great tips on how I can curl my wig. Love all your videos
+2480tiff thanks so much! Glad to help!
What do you think about the Paul Mitchell neuro smooth straightener?
What temperature do you suggest for 4c hair.
What would be the best flat iron for 4c hair?
Would you add a heat protectant before you blow dry and then flat iron? Or, would you add the heat protectant before flat ironing only? Also do you add the Heat Protector to the entire head or do you put it on each section as you flat iron?
Hello! I am so glad to have found your channel. Can you please give tips on how to get the curl when doing your own hair? Thanks so much!
+mommaM27 sure! I'll see what we can put together for you!
Loving your new haircut!
+Jamese Smith thanks!!
omg cause i have been scared AF to use one. also what heating protective spray is cheap but worthy to use before you flat iron?
I honestly don’t like heat protectant sprays, most of them are alcohol based and dry out the hair.
Your client is very patient! LOL How many passes through the flat iron for each section of hair is safe? Is 330 degrees a good temperature? Thank you for sharing this video...
thank you and and I gotta question does it matter if the flatiron really hot??
+Musically Dance Battles if the flat iron is too hot, it can cause the hair to burn or get heat damage
GlamFam Oh thank you💕
Love your video!
Is 345 a default for all hair types?
Does this also work on natural kinky hair or do you use the higher temp?
+A Ward it depends on the fabric of hair. In some instances, kinky hair is more fine and actually requires less heat. It varies based on the thickness of the individual strands more than it does on the coil pattern of the hair.
+GlamFam mine seems to be closest to what people are describing as 3C or 4C and it is very thick and has not been straighten in about a year possibly more; seems to poof quickly
+GlamFam yes sir thank you very much, I will definitely try it; just got through detangling it and putting a mixture of coconut oil and peppermint oil and enjoying the tingle on my scalp
+A Ward yes! The tingle is amazing!
The Devils temperature 😂😂😂 you're too much, I love it lmao
I like the Blue Straightener with holes from Babyliss which it was affordable that I can get it lovely work
That one is a good iron as well!
could you do a video showing how to cut layers and curl as well?
+Nefertiti Negus I will see what I can put together!
God bless you for posting this video and helping out a sister
Please demonstrate the curling with a flat iron in depth, on short, medium and long lengths of hair. Thanks!
+Rachel Derrick-Sevior will do! Thanks for your suggestion!
Is it necessary to have a expensive flat iron to achieve good results?
I just love your videos! You're a great teacher; and you crack me up!
I'm so happy I found you!!!
+Crystal Combs thank you! I'm glad you did too!
Love the final result!
Yes please! I’d love to see the curls!
Where does your school get their clamps from? I heard you move that baby forward and could hear how tight it was, but it didn't pop off the table!!! Mine do that all the time.
Do you use heat protective like oil Aryan
I always love your videos.
+AKIYIAKELLY thank you so much!
HAHAH the baby orphanage. We used to call ours the time out locker. We had some pretty horrendous mankins in our locker.
+Rande Thorman lol they are always horrendous in those things! Lol
Is there like a magnet to where u can bend the head?
Do you use heat protection or straighten spray first?
+Peyton & Ryleigh Tarplee no, most professional products have a heat protectant built in. Thank you for watching!
👍🏾great per usual! What products would you recommend to fight summer heat and humidity. Seems like I flat iron, step outside into summer humidity and my curls are instantly gone. 😔 I use Garnier Frutis (sp?) Humidity Fighter but that product seems sticky.
+Kendall Norman I'm actually not a huge fan of that line for various reasons, but I will tell you this:

Thanks for showing me this, looks like something I can do myself. I luv you both boo😇
I love all your videos!!!! so informative and your an amazing styliest!!!
+Amy Spatz thank you dear!
Is a titanium flat iron better then a ceramic one?
For coarse/resistant hair, yes. For finer hair, ceramic is better. I prefer a Tourmaline iron for most people because it’s a happy middle ground😊
GlamFam Thank you
Thank you I appreciate your advice
+Sylvia Carmona yes, I have I think 4 wig making tutorials. Thank you for watching dear!
Would U Happen To Have Any Natural Hair Care Routines && Good Products For Natural Hair???
+Keosha Howard yes actually! I will see if I can do a video based around my faves for natural hair.
GlamFam
That Would Be Lovely...Thanks Your The "BEST"😉
+Keosha Howard my pleasure, thank you!
How high should the flat iron heat be then?
.do you have any tutorials on how to self flat.iron. all hair salons are closed.😭
I would love to see a curl tutorial. All of your videos are extremely detailed. I love picking up new techniques.
+briana jamison thank you so much! I am in the process of filming several tutorials now, so that one is on the way!
+Liyah Richmond thank you! If the strands are fine, I would stay between 360 and 380, depending on how fine it is. Excellent question!
GlamFam thanks so much, that helps a lot!
+Liyah Richmond you are quite welcome! 😊❤️
Yes please I would love a detailed video of curling with a flat iron Please!
Hi. Will you do a video on what to use for natural hair that looks dull¿¿
+Still Victorious I will be sure to add that to my list! Thanks for the request!
I could totally see myself getting that curl style with a bomb pixie cut
+Rhoda 🙌🏽 that would be so cute!
Beautiful. When I had straight hair I use to do one type of curl, then under loop. 😅
+Nisai Gibbs thank you! I understand! Lol we all have our signature looks!
GlamFam Thanks. Now
I just need to figure out what to do with my natural, yet transitioning hair.
+Nisai Gibbs keep it moisturized, to tons of twisted styles, natural updos, braids, or protective styling are typically the way to go. Try not to use too much heat if you are trying not to mess up your curl pattern.
GlamFam THANKS! I definitely will keep it braided. Do you think wearing a wig during the day will be okay?
+Nisai Gibbs you are so welcome! Yes, check out my "tips for wig wearers video," it will give you all the pointers you may need for that! 👍🏽👍🏽
