I did something similar to that i got the 2500 lb 12 volt winch and some heavy duty jumper cables bolted it on a 2x2 sq tube across the bed of my truck just behind the cab hook the cables to the battery along with some harbor frieght ramps i load and unload with the wireless remote

Can the winch connect straight to the bobcat battery, or can the 120v plug? Very cool cart setup btw!

Yes you could hook it up to the battery. I wanted it to be 110 so I could use it with the generator in less steep loading applications.
