Cool, but does that tank work laying down? I thought they had to be upright. At first I thought that section hinged upright and stood behind the cart when in use. I like your off road version better than the flimsy ones. 👍
That 211 must be smaller than the 215MPi, I have a 210 cover and it does not fit. I do have one of those carts and might become my next welding cart, however, my tank probably will have to go vertical because the flowmeter.
THIS IS SO SUPER COOL SET UP one of the best I’ve seen for indoor outdoor cross I’m a bit of a newer welder though and the tank being side ways I love it but with what I remember from learning it brings some concern is it really really ok? Let’s say even if you were taking it through a ruffer patch of outdoors with all the rumbling could it cause more danger of that thing blowing?🤔🤔
@@doomsdaydiesel awesome! Thanks for the reply. You should come back one day and do a remastered version. It’s neat how in our trade it’s always a steady process each project there’s always something and they get better and better. Great videos, keep uploading 🫡👋🏻 All the best
Nice build. Only downside I see it the bottle size. I’ve seen too many variations in size on 80CF, 125CF, 200CF, ETC. Have you been lucky on that aspect?
Any issue with the bottle in horizontal position ? I would put it at least 20-30deg up to be on the safe side with CO2. I was told CO2 is in liquid form inside the bottle. I don't think liquid CO2 is good for the flowmeter, valve or welder.
Well thought out design. Very nice build.
I've made three of those little carts like 12 years ago I'm about to build another one
@@nrgrandits2046 let me know if you find tires that don't go flat. Thats been my only complaint. Love this thing!!
@@doomsdaydiesel put half a bottle of slime in one and the good slime the one with the chunks in it. I live in a goat head infested area

thats freakin rad. ultimate man wagon
Well done Thank you great idea
I've always been told gas bottles shouldn't be laid on their side, other than that it's an awesome cart kept simple. I give it an A+ .good job.
@@johnmaltby2414 thats in regards to Acetylene bottles.
Thank you!
Good looking cart!
really nice build !!!

Matheson's have all been the same

The gas is gas. The gas doesn't care where you put the bottle. A vertical flow meter would be a bigger challenge.
Pretty sure your tank will start freezing over
Awesome
