When I was landscaping, I belt carried a little cold chisel like that in my Felco holster for all my poking, scraping, scratching, scoring, tapping needs, and it makes a good dandelion puller in a pinch. Something extremely valuable about a small steel rod with a tapered end on your person when your fingernails won't always do the job.
Also Felco #2 and #8 pruners are unbelievable edc item for the outdoors -- look 'em up! Little bit more than $10 though lol

Our daily carry - telescopic "lady" umbrella. A mini light weight shackle for keys. A Conan utility knife with multiple and brilliant flipping action with a bottle opener & bit driver. Cowabunga mate, we do carry tiny chisel for prying, also attach a pocket clip & a flat ferro rod. We've got scissors in our multitool. We use carpenter's pencil when navigating through bushland, the fine edge helps with precision marking & easily shade areas that we've "conquered" or rather walked through. It produce great kindling to start fires. Sharpies are the best matey, either in felt form or ballpoint. If it gets dry, we just soak the tip into water but grandad just put it in his mouth. We prefer a tape measure used by tailors, it's flat & light weight. No competition there & nothing that can break. Knipex...well we've got our multitool, if we carry a Knipex it will have to be just like yours, that modded one with dots on it. We are into bushcrafting & outdoor activities, we do carry twist ties but only use the type that gardeners uses, just pinch some from grandma's garden shed. More of this vid mate. We get great ideas whenever we watch your show. Cheers cobber.!

I would recommend YT channel "Project Farm" and his very extensive testing and comparison video on duct tape. Very informative. I carried the 424 Channellock plier in my pocket at work for about 25 years to augment my SAK Champ. Now I have to get one of those Cresents, they are obviously better. A 4" adjustable wrench was always with be as well. Can't count the number of times those three items saved me hundreds of steps back to my main tool box. I worked in maintenance in a 2 story factory that had a 24 acre footprint so saved steps mattered a lot, especially as I approached retirement age. LOL

Man I have spent so much money on tools, sockets, power tools in 2024 that I am kind of upset I spent so much. Only good thing is that I paid cash or debit so no interest on my tools but I have spent 1,000's - I recently moved from DeWalt to Milwaukee and those power tools are not cheap but they are very good. Thanks for showing that you do not need to spend a lot of money to get some decent tools.

I have those milwaukee pens and markers literally everywhere lol. I have the pens in my personal truck and work truck because I use them to fill out my paperwork. I have the markers in my bag, my personal truck, my work truck, my lunch box, my pocket, ect. The reason I like these more than sharpie is because the clips attach to your hard hat. I wear a brain bucket everyday(I'm an electrician), and if I'm marking out measurements I'll clip it to my lid, that way I can simply pop it off and make my marks, and pop it back on.

The weather here in FL combined with sweat your pouches soak up will rust the crap outta your tools. Had to throw away a pair of Knipex cobras too. I kid you not, they didn't even last a month. I bought a cheap one off Temu but got refunded for it because the add shows a knipex one. I was curious if it was real or counterfeit. It was neither. Just a cheaper version. • @ivechang6720

Hiya! Could you tell me if the Milwaukee Inkallz live up to their claims of working on dusty, wet and oily surfaces? That's an improvement in comparison to regular sharpies, and I don't like the idea of having to keep track of pro vs regular. I'd prefer to just know all the orange ones are high quality. That would make a difference for me and I'd like to reward their attention to quality & detail if it's true.

👍 do enjoy these types of video, it's all about sharing. So, I will also share. Those carpenter pencil, were ever you find them at, there is always a sharpener for them!' Yes a Square peg fits in a round hole. These sharpeners have been around as long as that Carpenter's pencil, and you use them the same as a regular pencil sharpener yet it seems as if your generation no's not of their existence. But now they're made out of plastic..If you whittle with a knife on a Carpenter's pencil, you will break the lead into pieces just like a regular pencil. Just a little flex, and the lead breaks! Now let talk MARKERS, Plan o rubbing alcohol is the carrier that delivers the ink.. that felt tip marker will wick up alcohol back into that marker by simply holding that tip in your rubbing alcohol for only a minute. And the BAM, marker is revised!! Go figure,, right.
