A little wear here, a little wear there... And some oil.. I hate to guess how many miles are on my trailers, both 48' ran Portland to Denver for 10+ years.. but have been well maintained. Things are pretty tight.
Spent 40 years never going further than 25 miles from the house, then kids grew and scattered, drove from Louisiana threw Denver to Fort Lewis hit Oregon on the way. Beautiful drive made me wonder how it was for Lewis and Clark. Awww getting side tracked. Lot of brake action on that trip
@@sonofmontezuma3732 I'd tell them whole shebang. My main customer has 3 lic state inspectors I flag stuff after them all the time mostly on med duty disc brakes they wanna pass cracked rotora on a truck that really has inadequate brakes as it is.
Instead of telling them that this is illegal document you could’ve told them you have to do wheel and brakes. It’s not gonna cost that much more to S cams and slacks, because I already have the wheel hub off no more than two hours would’ve been much easier for them to swallow like that and get approval
You would think!! Here are a few more samples. Had a inframe rebuild, the customer refused new batteries, we had to jump start the unit when they picked it. Refused to buy batteries even when we offered them at cost!!! Had another customer refuse to reseal 3rd menber but dropped for a new transmission, it’s a crazy world. The back story on the wheel seals we offered to do the job labor free the just had to pay for the parts and oil & they still refused. I don’t get it.

@@sonofmontezuma3732 we try not to use the brakes too much.. seems like when I have to do brakes on a truck, it's because the seal went..lol
