I was hoping you would show how many studs broke off on the tank flange, I had 4 studs brake off, and you need every one of them, so I pulled the tank all the way out and had to drill and tap, for new studs. also installed a frame rail fuel pump, so I will not be stuck on the road again. ( I used straps also )
Trying to figure out if my fuel pump failed or if I have another problem. If and when I have to deal with the fuel pump is like to know more about the fuel rail option you installed. Is it an alternative to the in-tank or in addition? If in addition, does it become the primary or the fail safe? Does only one operate at a time and if one fails how does it not prevent flow? Like what you installed? What pumps do you recommend?
Love your video. Thanks! I need drop my tank only to connect the generator line to the new gas pump installed. Do you think that I need drop the entire tank? Mine is looks like yours.
I have a 1976 coachmen. I can't find anything on this RV could you post everything that you do to your please. Thanks for your post it was very helpful 😊
I'm about to attempt this on my motorhome. I'm not really finding the videos showing how to drop the tank with straps. Can you post a link or detail in comments. Looks straightforward, but wanted a little more insight
Yes, thus the safety stands with some weight on them. 10,000 lbs is about what that axle ways when I have checked it on the truck scale coming and going to the mountains a few times.
Hey I'm in the same situation. But cannot locate the correct fuel pump to buy. The one I got at autozone has 2 ports. The one on the rv has 3. I have been typing everything i can think of in google to locate. Nothing yet. Any help would be much appreciated.
Mine had three ports as well. They are hard to find but I found a replacement for mine on Amazon it was only $43 I think? As soon as I bought it though the price went up to about $85 for the same pump. But it is available there. Surprised it was that hard to locate one but they are kind of a rare breed I guess. Anyway check Amazon....
Thank you Sir. Yes this was a huge help. I appreciate this so much.
Glad it helped

Thankfully none of my studs broke off the PB Blaster helped I think and just being easy taking the nuts off.

1994 allegro Bay can't find the original fuel pump gauge that goes in tank how come
Great idea with the straps ty

Straps just keep it from falling when you unhook the mounts; then use the ratchets on the straps to let it down slowly. About all there is to it.
I would add a second set of ramps or some 8 ton bottle jacks the stress on the dually studs are huge.
what year is this ?

I know Im kind of randomly asking but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released series online ?
@Abraham Rodrigo lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it on google :)
Not sure where it goes, maybe the genny or evap/smog as you suggested.
