Thanks for posting this! after the nightmare I had getting the wrong brackets and wireing harnesses for my truck, it makes me so glad to watch someone show me exactly what I need to get for my motorhome.
Thanks for posting. I'm putting in a radio off of Amazon myself and this gave me a good tip about the face plate. Good to know that someone had to cut out the dash just a little.
@@MrLegendL2118 I ordered some kind of trim kit and modified it to fit around the radio. If you search "AI FORD DOUBLE ISO W/POCKET"on Amazon, it's a Ford double din dash kit. I just cut out the center piece and used that for the trim and taped it to the side of the radio and it finished it off nicely.
Ooh. That's rough. Did you plug in the antenna? Can't understand why unless it has something to do with when the headlights are turned on, the backlight on original radio turns on. but the no signal.... Not sure.
Jerry, I am looking to put one in my 2002 E450 Itasca Sundancer class C coach. What year model was yours? I am also interested in the vehicle analyzer that you were going to hook up. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Middle Georgia here
I got the base base model. It's the first gen with I think 2 gb memory. Super slow. I recommend getting the new 2gen. Regarding the analyzer,, I got a Bluetooth obd2 scanner that is the size of half a pack of cigarettes that plugs into the van port. Then I downloaded the"Torque app to the unit monitor the engine. After having the unit for a year now I used it mostly for connecting my phone via Bluetooth to play music...I might do more of my unit was faster, but now that they haver the 2gen which I might get that.
Did you install a back up camera as part of the install?..I'm installing a Kenwood in my E-450 and have yet to trim it out, but I would like to find the reverse wire in one of the3 harnesses that is on top of th etranny supposidly visible when the doghouse is removed. Looking to hookup the pink wire on the back of the Kenwood
It might be marshmallow and I don't think it is upgradeable since they have a skin over it. I would get the one with the more memory. It seems to take a longer than expected to load anything. It's nice for a RV stereo upgrade.
The odd sounding brand name Android receivers on Amazon are actually pretty good. Do your research, there are differences between them. Pumpkin seems to be a good brand with a good chip for the audio playback.

@@JerryFrye1966 Dont think I would get anything less than 8.0 . Its a shame these cant be upgraded.
TOTO sounds like a questionable brand!
