I don’t know, there was a little detuned jam on the Sirin that Loopop put out that was great even though it was short 😅 ruclips.net/video/X0ohwbdeT_Q/видео.htmlsi=vUAWFjeqGsX2SjUY
I’m still getting my head around the amazing range of Moog stand alone boxes. This is the first I’ve heard of the Minotaur, but it’s definitely made it onto my “wanna” list.
WOW, just WOW! Best solo Minitaur song I've heard. Hate to ask but what effects are you using. I just ordered a Minitaur yesterday. Amazing video/performace/song!
this is wild. i've had the minituaur for years and i just use it in the studio for plunky bass hits. thanks for sharing and would love if you could elaborate on your FX chain as it's not easy to have something where delay and reverb are driving the sound like that come out so clean!
Can this device generate its own sounds(?), or are you generating noise from another device and feeding it into the Moog/Minitaur to then bassify it(?) - Please let me know, as this might be on a purchase shortlist. - Thanks.
I understand but the question was more if you use it in this video and if you prefer Minitaur vs Sirin Aren’t they almost the same All this question because i whant to buy one or the other Thanks
I'm not using it in the video - the sounds you are hearing come exclusively from the Minitaur, processed primarily with Valhalla. It's blinking because it's connected and receiving the same midi signal that the Minitaur is receiving. I would recommend the Sirin as it will give you a complete range of octaves - the Minitaur is exclusively a bass synth, and does not play higher notes beyond a certain octave.
Exceptionally well done! Again, we can see what is really important in music: It's mostly not the price and amount of equipment, but the ingenuity and musicality of the one who knows how to use it to its best ability. Love it! Thank you.
To whom this may pertain. That was absolutely beautiful. My Minitaur sits and does its bass job. I believe that has inspired me to "take it for a walk". Kudos.
This is amazing! One of the best synth demos on RUclips. Wow. Would really appreciate understanding a bit of how you sequenced this piece with the keystep pro, changing parts, etc. I haven't worked with the keystep yet. Your transitions were so natural, easy to lose oneself in the music
The Keystep is super easy to program. I write each pattern individually and switch between them to make sure they flow smoothly from one section to the next before I arrange the patterns into a chain and perform.
It's blinking because it was receiving the same midi signal as the Minitaur - didn't know it at the time, but I had them set up on the same channel... The Sirin is not heard in this piece.
THAT IS GREAT! Can you share the settings of the reverb/delay and plugins you used? I have the Supermassive and the UADs but I can't seem to get the same spacey and warm sound. Thank you!
I don’t know of a way to post screenshots on here, or all the details of every setting on every instance of every plugin, but I can tell you that I used one instance of Supermassive for the delay and another one for the “reverb” - Supermassive is doing a LOT of things at once and back when I filmed this performance I had found it easier to rely on multiple instances of it to perform different roles than trying to get it all right with one preset. Now I could probably get away with just doing one instance per track. As for the UAD stuff, I don’t rely on them much or push them hard. Just run the preamp plugin and gently push the knob a little. The 610 and 1073 are my favorites with the Minitaur.
You're hearing a sequence that alternates from bass line to melody line, quite simply. I've synchronized the speed of sample and hold filter modulation to the speed of the delay, which gives the piece some complexity that it would not achieve without both. Single string of notes on a single track, combined with filter modulation and a calculated use of Supermassive, basically.
Damn. Minitaur was my first Moog and my 3rd synth. Got it right when it came out. Did yours come with an "all your bass are belong to us" bumper sticker too? lol
Damn just been to eBay and the one of these I was eyeing up has gone. Hate that that just makes me want one more! I have the doepfer dark energy which is single oscillator reckon it would team up great with the minitaurs 2
Thanks for posting this, sounds great! Honestly sometimes I wish I never sold my minitaur to go towards a subsequent37, I miss the simplicity of it a lot sometimes. It's easy to get a sweet spot on the sub37 for sure, but it's even easier on the minitaur. Watching this makes me wanna sell the sub and grab a minitaur again!
This is one of the best Minitaur(solo) performance I've ever heard... WOW
Yessss!!! A really good piece!!!

Agreed
Phenomenal atmosphere
Amen to that! Definitely the best, even in terms of recording quality.
Sometimes I just need a hit of analog sound, nothing else. This is the best I've found
💯
This is great and beautiful synth solo! Enjoyed every moment. Thank you!
That was beautiful. Sat here in silence with the headphones on the entire time. Such a warm fat bass that Minitaur. The GAS is strong in this one.
Thank you for this moment. Great jam on every level, but mostly for manifesting a clear vision. All the creative aspects are aligned!
This is incredible. This really made things click together in my head on how to effectively use these.
I’m still getting my head around the amazing range of Moog stand alone boxes. This is the first I’ve heard of the Minotaur, but it’s definitely made it onto my “wanna” list.
I hear this literally ALL THE TIME and it blows my mind!
My gosh.. such a beautiful sound and wonderful performance!
Fabulous demo !
Nice work on these sounds and textures. A lot can be done with a simple mono synth and good fx.
this is so good. Pls make a video of your process.. from patterns, to sound design and all. So many people would love that. Thank you
Thanks for the feedback! I’m thinking about doing a livestream soon!
Amazing performance! Love it! :)
Simply fantastic! Brutal low end! 😮
Stunning. Thank you for creating & sharing. Groove on. 🎛🎧👑🎵🔊💎
Fantastic demo. Love it !!!
Beautiful stuff, I’m inspired to get my Minitaur out now and explore it some more!
this sounds so great and inspiring! 🙌👍👍👏👏
One of the best videos with Minitaur I have ever seen. 🖤🖤

Absolutely beautiful!
Great demo
Great performance! Love it!
That's so moody and deep sounding - awesome !
Amazing
Amazing, never got this out of my Minitaur. It's inspiring me to use it again.
Very delicious stuff, liked & subbed!
Lovin' this! Thanks,
Tremendous thanks for sharing! Would love a patch building master class 🎉
Man this is really beautiful !
Great performance. Didn’t expect, that this piece of gear sounds soooo fantastic 🖤🎶🙌🏽🎛️🎚️
This was very impressive

Definitely run it through Supermassive for a whole new world of possibilities!
~ cool, greetings from germany ~
This is fucking brilliant.
Very good jam. I love Moog Minitaur
Oooh yes … what a great sound you have there 🔥
hell yeah!! some new minitaur content 🤘
I loved the sounds and performance
100% Awesomeness! 🔥👍🏻
beautiful performance 👏
Great job dude! Gettin one!

Inspiration and power
This is so good!
sounds fantastic 👍
Great demo! thanks a lot!
Very inspiring, thanks 🤩
Great use of the instrument! Very different format…love it!!!

Well done!
very nice deep sound really enjoyed!
Awesome track. Congrats👏
Amazing! 🎉
This is very cool - sounds delicious.
Wowww !! This is a great performance !
damn and the siren casually sitting in the back 🤩
Cool video. The Minitaur is a nice little synth.
wow fantastic sound - nice
Great Sound, thank you
Just amazing...
Excellent!
REALLY great track!
May I ask how you sequenced this? :) I love it, thank you so much!
Arturia Keystep Pro, one track, one midi channel!
Great performance and solid composition.
To whom this may pertain. That was absolutely beautiful. My Minitaur sits and does its bass job. I believe that has inspired me to "take it for a walk". Kudos.
Valhalla reverb plug-in helps a lot evidently
Moogs are nothing without effects. You nailed it. 🎯

Curious, why the Sirin in the background
"because it was there"
Really nice,sounds great!
Very good!! Whats kind of FX did you use?
I want that side panel!!
Noizzy Hardwoods on Reverb!
This is awesome!
What a track!
are delay and reverb here in parallel or in series? The delay seems quite clean, while the ambient background is there... so it seems parallel.
Delay hits first, feeds into the reverb. I'm mostly relying on Valhalla Supermassive here...
sounds awesome 😎
This sounds great!!
Nice one!❤
amazing...
Would be curious to know about your sequenced pattern? Sounds awesome!
MAGIC 💫👌🙏
I mean, tasty as hell man, nice!
What was the Sirin doing in the background? Was obvs in some capacity involved even if not producing a sound
P.s. John Carpenter wants his music book back...
It's blinking because it was receiving the same midi signal as the Minitaur - didn't know it at the time, but I had them set up on the same channel... The Sirin is not heard in this piece.

very good sound! around 1:04 what parameter do you play to get that rolling bass sound?
That is a dotted eighth note delay, my friend!
@@analogmission did you automate the delay?
@@voodoornb I set the Keystep Pro and Logic to the same tempo when I create these.
excellent
Excellent 👌👌👌👌
Excellent mate! Where did you find those wooden side panels may I ask?
Noiizzy Hardwoods on Reverb!
How do you do sequence all of that?! Sounds like multitrack! I m really curious to see how you did it... 😊

Massive little guy sounds like fun
Sehr schön 👍
Brilliiant! is it all just one take/ sequence ?
Yes!
Excellent. This is truly pro level.
Looks like a Moog Sirin in the background playing as well.
It's connected, but it's silent... it will get its turn to shine as a solo instrument soon enough!
Damn. Minitaur was my first Moog and my 3rd synth. Got it right when it came out. Did yours come with an "all your bass are belong to us" bumper sticker too? lol
Sadly no!

I don't see why you couldn't do something similar to this with the Doepfer, a sequencer, and a nice long delay synced to the tempo of your piece!
Thanks for posting this, sounds great!

I sold my Minitaur when buying a Subsequent 25. I just re-bought the Minitaur 😅
Great!👌
