Wow. Wow. Wow! All awesome but that is the best cover of Smalltown Boy I’ve ever heard. Made me emotional to hear it. This small town boy ran off to London and never looked back. Thank you for giving me those memories back!
Bravo, Bravo, Bravo! The best presentation I've heard on RUclips. Sweetness, clarity, juiciness, quality, and fullness of colors. Something that's missing on YT today. Thank you, thank you, and thank you once again. Subscribed! Best regards.
If only Roland had contacted some of the JPX users that I've seen recently to market this synth, they would have had a much better initial response. Your contribution would have been a real help for them! As a user of most of the JP series since 1981, I can honestly say that I really love this synth (who cares if it's not analogue!) I still use my JP-6 (which I purchased in '83) and would really like to see a JP-6 model for the JPX. It's been a while since their last update...C'mon Roland, don't leave us hanging! I kept the JP-6 because it's the most unique sounding of the JP series IMHO and mine is getting a bit 'blinky & scratchy'...pleeease Roland!
Amazing Was hesitating on a used Jupiter XM with a broken knob for a good price but now have to buy it Favs: Take On Me - Sweet Dreams - Moments In Love - Smalltown Boy
Amazing performance! I like all your videos a lot, also due to the fact i own a Jupiter X myself, but I can't even get close to what you perform! You make me curious: are these Jupiter X own presets (maybe modified), or build with the Jupiter X editor, or is the Jupiter X used for triggering VST sounds in a DAW? By the way, which DAW / software do you use? Again, you are an inspration for all of us, excellent job!!
@@flighttomars thank you. Yes the jupx is a great synth. Im mostly using my own sounds, i just build them on the jupiter, mostly without too much menu diving. There are a few tweaked presets too. All sounds are jupx. Im using Cubase and when looping i send each part to a midi track in Cubase. Im also using a UAD interface usually with some kind of dynamic control and sometimes overall eq shaping
@@marcoagius6926 the sound engine is the same. The hardware quality of the jupx is a bit better but also a very big and heavy synth. I would probably have bought the juno x, if it had been released the same year.
@@Fallingoverbackwards all sounds are from the jpx. The voice is a preset called SYN VOX, then an Ebass, orchestral hit, and the flute i just made using a tri and noise osc on the jp8 engine
Bings back a lot of sweet memories...
Absolutely adorable. Sounds are very close to originals.
Wow!! You’ve totally nailed these!! 👏👏
