She's adorable. I tried this recipe and it's now how I make all of my red curry. It's sooooo good. I'm actually watching this because I'm about to go make some more now.
Same here! This is probably my 4th time making Thai curry and I always like to come back to her video to refresh my memory. :) Best thai curry video on youtube!

Fantastic video. Entertaining and i can see you make the dish very authentic but your technique and explanation makes it look so simple. I won't be able to do it that good but i will try.
Hello Chef Da, I just looove your recipes, they are so well executed, detailed explained, and they look sooo goood ! Why did you give up after only three recipes ? People love you and your recipes. Perhaps, you have a new job and can no longer video yourself, well, do it from home ! Or do it from a friend's home or some family relative's home, but please keep on posting your delicious looking thai recipes for the pleasure of your fans and followers ! A very bright and sunny day to you !
I like how you explain what you're doing, and make notes about different possible substitutions (like food processors are ok, but olive oil is not ok). Good video.
I prepared this recipe for my nieces Birthday dinner and substituted the chicken with haddock, shrimp and scallops. It was an amazing meal and I was so grateful for Chef Da's help!
This is an excellent recipe. I made it vegan ... without chicken or fish sauce. Just add some kosher salt. I used a small bottle of Thai Kitchen brand Red Curry Paste to two cans of coconut milk. Be sure to use 'First Press' coconut milk. After adding the veggies I cooked for only five minutes to retain the crispness of the veggies. Julienn (sp?) carrots add a nice sweetness to the dish.
Hello, I love your countries food. I once went to thailand and an old lady gave me her recipe for red curry that was Fresh galangal, garlic, coriander roots, lemongrass, fish sauce, oyster paste, turmeric, cummin seed, paprika, Kafir lime leaves, coconut milk, spanish red onion, chilli..... It was BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure yours is too. Thanks - nice video
I fell in love with red curry when my friends mom brought me some from her restaurant to eat, I then found this video cause I wanted to make it myself and it taste exactly the same! Thank you so much
Thank you for sharing. I watched this just after returning from the market with the pre-made paste...I wish I would have watched this video before the trip to the store.
I could only tell that she said "Lemon grass, galanga and kaffir lime" because I knew it. It would be very nice to have the ingredients written as well. Lovely video though, the curry looks delicious.
Making this now; subbing in sugar snap peas and asparagus for the eggplant because that is what is on hand. Looks fabulous and smells wonderful!!! Thank you so much for this recipe!!! Great video! Please post more recipes!
Thanks a lot for this recipe.. I had been trying to make d perfect thai curry for long but couldn't. This is the best recipe and i could finally do it. Thanks
That looks sooo goood!....I'm going to try that.....there was this dish that I used to get from a Thai resturaunt in my area...I used to order a spicy dish that had chicken, onions, green peppers, bamboo shoots, and coconut milk, maybe some ginger....served with a white rice....I think now maybe I'll try to re-create it.....Thanks!

Can I use dried basil?
Isn't she just a cutey?!
Is it tricky to make? I’m a novice!
for anyone wondering the bowl after the salt @0:44 contained: Lemongrass, Galangal and Kaffir Lime
The best Thai curry video out there....Thanx chef Da..!
How could anyone give her a thumbs down, that was a great video, thank you.
it is because they have some issues with their thumbs. lol
Because she didn't put the recipe in the description. Nobody wants to look through a 16 minute video while shopping for ingredients.

Thai red curry paste you buy from the market is not vegan to let you know. Most brands I have seen has shrimp paste.
you can buy vegan red curry paste. thai kitchen is vegan. they sell fish sauce separately.
