- In today's video, I'll be talking about my favourite shorts for the summer. A decent pair of affordable shorts can be really tricky to find these days. I struggle to find many pairs I like but maybe I'm just fussy. Anyway, I show you some of my favourite casual shorts and my favourite smarter shorts that I will be wearing this summer. All the shorts vary in price. I have some affordable options and some that are more on the pricey end, but hopefully, there will be something you like on the list.

I love athletic shorts, especially the Nike woven shorts and have numerous pairs. The blue ones are my favorites.
This was actually really useful considering I’ve grow about 4 inches since last summer (5,7 to 6,1) and I need new shorts. I really like the Nike and colourful standard ones

Best shorts right now are Eric Emanuel absolutely comfortable super stylist and Soo many colors and patterns, palm angels has some nice ones too and essential f.o.g shorts also really good 👍

Awesome recs! Currently my favorite pair is the Kore short by Vuori and they feel incredible to wear. Definitely going to look into Colourful Standard, seems like a great choice for comfort as well. Cheers!

I know im late here, but my roommate got our household into Vuori and we all bought a bunch. The Kore short owns, I wear them all summer
9 inch shorts are popular in my area of Huntington Beach ca,board shorts are actually worn a lot also but this is an area of the country where shorts are worn off and on the whole year,in fact im getting a new pair later today if time allows .thanks so much for your take on shorts,have a great day and good luck decorating.🌻🏖🇺🇦✌️

I just picked up 3 pairs from kith. 1 pair of their nylon active shorts and 2 pairs of the active swim shorts. Planning to use them for an upcoming holiday that’ll allow me to go in the water and dress them up a little for evening dinners.
how did the trial go? do they have some kind of liner?
@@hrrrrrrr2084 hey the swim shorts do have a liner so you can opt not to wear underwear. The active shorts don’t have a liner. Both pairs of shorts that I took held up very well. I did some hiking and ATV activities in the swim shorts without a problem.

What did you use the active shorts for?
@@hrrrrrrr2084 while wearing the swim trunks I didn’t wear underwear. The active shorts don’t have the liner so I did wear underwear when wearing that pair. I wore the active shorts for going out and hanging out at the bars, lounges and clubs.
@@blahfever7186 thanks yeah you could have tried without as well even if they don't have the liner, for example on hot days or to get more air.
Are they comfy? Interesting despite being called active you only wore them for daily casual use, not sports!

I think 3-5 Inches inseam are the best. I wear the shortest one when its hot. Towards the knees or around are classed as Bermuda shorts. Bud.

My favorite shorts are functional, like having lots of pockets, quick-drying, etc.
Amazing review as always! My favorite pair of shorts, are the sport shorts from Uniqlo. Not because they look great as the Nike one, but only because they have a zip pocket inside the pocket and for a paranoid person as me, a closed zip is really handy when I’m going out without any bag. Do these shorts also have a zipper pocket inside the pocket ?

Finding a good short was not easy for me since I have big thighs but I lately found some magic ones from uniqlo that fits like a glove

Coincidentally, I've also had my eye on the Colorful Standard shorts (both in black and oat) for some time now. How thick is the material of the shorts? Are they breathable? Can they handle the Dutch heat waves (yes, you read that right, often temperatures in the summer of over 35 degrees)?
They are not really thick but solid. I hope that kinda makes sense. They have a decent weight to them though. A linen pair may be a better option for the really hot days
But they are really nice. Great pair of shorts
You should also consider Orlebar Brown and L’estrange for smart options
I like Orlebar but they are pricey. Not a big fan of Lestrange I’m afraid

I liked the fit of the adidas shorts personally mroe than Nike ones too. Your taller I guess. But I like 5-7 inch inseam shorts

I like them but tried them on in store and the sizing was odd for me. If they suit you they are a solid buy
I’ve always loved the cargo shorts because I feel like with some others I’m not too comfortable with pockets, but it’s kind of a struggle nowadays to find good cargos. Most of them are too long, or too baggy.
Edit. Oh and I also have one pair of Nikes but with zip pockets, so I feel much more confident to go around without losing my stuff.
Pockets are very useful on shorts.
Go for Nike ACG Cargo Shorts! Amazing fit, a bit above the knee fit and perfect fit in my opinion. Not too skinny, not too baggy. Just the perfect amount of room and length
You should try Lululemon Pace Breaker, the best ever.

I love the nike woven shorts. They are the perfect length and material for hot summer days and they look super clean with white trainers and tanned legs 😍. I have a pair myself
