    ealistic like this one.

Exactly what I needed. But so far I couldn't figure out why mine doesn't look the same. Probably because my object is only 12 cm big. I see on the top side, where we want the scratches to circle around, more like only lines. When I raise the Noise Distortion to 50 it looks a bit better, but in wrong relation to the side of the cylinder. I checked everything and I have the same settings like you. Maybe it has something to do with the Mesh of my object. --- 1 Day later. I found out what I missed. I applied Scale but not All Transformation. As a Beginner I guess that as the geometry got exported from Rhino with Y axis vertical it caused those problems in Blender till I applied all transformations.
One thing I thought about, that if you make those Spheres to show your Material, the Sphere is mostly around 2m big. I think then the material looks often a bit in a wrong Relationship to real sizes. Because in real life, most things we use that have those materials are around 10 to 50 cm. (Computer, Hammer, Doorhandle, Smartphone. A Bicycle or a Car are the only two things I use that go into that 2m size range, but also those doesn't have one single Area that is 2m. Mostly they are separated in different smaller parts) So I think the Material-Spheres should be around 10 or 50cm.
However - thanks a lot for the great tutorials. Me as a Beginner had huge Struggle to understand what you are doing from min 26:00. I think for Beginners it would be helpfull to mention there what's the goal before starting all those very fast steps. Something like: "Now the Node Tree is finish and I will put it into one box to have outside the box only one Node with only the important areas to adjust. I show you how to do this, as it helps to simplify the big Node Tree and make it more easy to see in one Node where to adjust all the different parameters."
For me, only 6 Month into Blender it was "what is he doing? Why is he doing this?" And as I said to myself then "Just trust this Guy and follow the steps, because every single Tutorial of him was great." I started to understand at the end what and why you was doing this Box and Output-Node Thing.
Just as a little feedback from a confused Beginner. :) huge Thanks for all your amazing explaining.

The last texture doesn't work. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, but on the lateral faces on each face, I have that circular pattern. The origins in at the very center of the mesh.

@@lucaciucristina130 I had the same issue, my problem seemed to be I was using a sphere, I had to setup a cylinder the same way he did (with two SubDiv and such). If it looks weird it might be that there's not enough geometry or the scaling is weird.

Hey, I made the brushed metal material you showed. After making this and applying it on a cylinder with a sub D modifier it seems to have a mid section where the texture gets stretched and is only fixed once I decrease the scaling on the x axis, have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi, for some reason anisotropic doesn't seem to be making any effect. I tried to copy all nodes as yours. Cycles is turned on and I'm in Render preview. I'm seeing some of those cross shadows/highlights in the center, but it is not because of anisotropic. It doesn't make any difference for me.
