If they would have just added dual layer I would have traded in my CDJ 2000 nxs2's immediately. I'm still pretty let down by these players and most people are. Next product cycle better be a glass screen, dual layer, and the ability to halve and double the grid on the player.
Pioneer has went balls to the wall with the Apple doctrine of barely tweaking their existing design because people will buy it because they believe in the brand, not on the individual product’s actual specifications and the merits therein. It’s a fucking shame and this is 100% why I think people need to start buying Products from their competitor because we need real competition in this space and unfortunately there really isn’t/

cdj 2000nxs 2 is still my fav. The cdj 3000 hot cue points are not my fan
Interesting. I actually like not having to switch cue banks anymore, and I also quite like the placement of the cue buttons below the screen.

I have the denon sc5000m's and they are capable of doing all that what zedd described here and much more... Even traktor dj is able to that since like ever... I hate that this feels like pioneer is trying to sell it like it's a new feature. It's something they should've brought a long time ago and much much cheaper... It's crazy to think that both my denons sc5000m's and the mixer 1800x cost 2500€ together, bring more functions and 1 single layer cdj3000 is worth 2600€. Yet pioneer still rules all the clubs. It still makes me angry :D
