As a pro wrestling fan, I already knew of Collison in Korea and how bad it was. Still, this was a great video especially with all the CM Punk, John Cena, and Becky Lynch references. I laughed at most of them even when I know I shouldn't have. Also, the reference to All In (A show I was at) and Kenny Omega's "Goodnight and Goodbye" were awesome. Great video Kento Bento
Funny you mention Andre, because Inoki and Andre actually wrestled each other on a few occasions. There's footage out there of Andre the Giant absolutely manhandling Inoki, as if he got angry with him and was actually trying to hurt him.
This reminds me of the show Yu Yu Hakusho, both involved tournaments in a dangerous and strange place, they're life's were on the line and both are from the 1990s.
Can we just give huge props to the freaking legend Antonio Anoki He served as basically a senator and uses that as leverage to fight the legendary Flair in N. Korea. With Ali of all people. Wow

As a pro wrestling fan, I usually cringe at videos made by non wrestling channels. This however, was wonderful. I loved every second of it
My guy hid the ad so well, once I realized it was an ad, I kept watching it. 100% seamless
> "He needed to establish a cult of personality"
> Has Kim Jong-Il doing the CM Punk pose
What you did there...... I see it.
Nicolas Smith What about the when Kim Il sung died it had 3:16 on the clock.
@@omidhassani4988 i didn't even catch that. nice call man
Easter Eggs..
*_GOTTA CATCH ’EM ALL!!!_*
You were at all in damn I'm jealous
Wait what was the cm punk reference?
It's great because you're sufficiently informed enough about Japan, North Korea and pro-wrestling to put on a precise video about the event
Well. "Informed" is kind of strong when it comes to the DPRK.
@@connorscanlan2167 that's also true lol
John Cena was there, you just couldn't see him
Are you sure about that
If a Cena falls in the woods and nobody sees him, does the Cena make a trumpet noise?
>making a Reddit tier joke
Go back
Just like the last 10,000 times this joke was made...lame and unfunny.
@@paintfreightsjessewaits4323 oh my god that made me quite litterally laugh out loud

"Years later wCw was purchased by the WWF, by this point, the WWE."
It was still the WWF when wCw was purchased.
Yeah that's what he said.
This was in April 1995…
Monday nitro wouldn’t be a thing for another few months.
The way he links everything to Dashlane is amazing
Damn that dudes like the Japanese Andre the Giant
He was a much bigger deal. In his prime, Inoki was bigger than possibly any WWF/WWE star ever has been.
@@MrNecryptic The actual "Japanese André" was mostly Shohei Baba, another Rikidozan trainee who went on to found All Japan Pro-Wrestling.
I'd say Inoki best comparable was Hogan.
James R he’s more like the Muhammad Ali of Japan. A legitimate combat athlete. His name is now Muhammad Hussein Inoki.
Funny you mention Andre, because Inoki and Andre actually wrestled each other on a few occasions. There's footage out there of Andre the Giant absolutely manhandling Inoki, as if he got angry with him and was actually trying to hurt him.
Honestly, the way he transitions from the actual video to the sponsor is smooth.
Can we get an applause for this man?
He is a genius in marketing lol😂
So Inoki basically called in a bunch of WCW guys to work in a hostile country in front of a crowd that he knew would only pop for him
Nice
What a god.
This reminds me of the show Yu Yu Hakusho, both involved tournaments in a dangerous and strange place, they're life's were on the line and both are from the 1990s.
If it came out after this, then it’s likely this event inspired the show.
Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un's recent meeting was about hosting another WWE event and whosever wrestler fail will have his hair shaved bald
They gonna ressurect Umaga
I can see this happening
This is 6 March 2020 but the events that led to this were started 3 days ago when I came accross your channel and binge watching it.
I am so impressed of how he got from wwe to a cybersecurity ad
Can we just give huge props to the freaking legend Antonio Anoki
He served as basically a senator and uses that as leverage to fight the legendary Flair in N. Korea. With Ali of all people. Wow
now this topic is now the episode of dark side of the ring season 3
Wow. The segway into the add was awesome, actually...
Shout-out to all the wrestling references throughout the video like Seth Rollins' logo on Inoki's desk
As someone who loves pro wrestling and the mysticism of north korea (hate that this place exists, but it's so damn interesting) this video was freaking made for me. Thanks!
Yeah, I get really riled up by what the TV tells me, too.
This was extremely well made, oh my god. The animations and small wrestling references and slick. All that for a smooth cybersecurity ad. 😂
12:56 "There was a boy who was a son of a farmer."
Me: "Thanos!"
But Thanos is the son of a scientist
If you didn’t know Japan is actually silent during matches and only clap during big moves
It’s actually very respectful
Unlike in nk where it’s forced and awkward
I've heard they also completely clean up after themselves at the venue, which must be a very impressive sight.
That Segway at the end was the most amazing thing I ever seen , so much good shit in one video!
