- When a Planter just doesn't work, start afresh! That's what we are going to do today. We are also going to add some new layers to the garden and evergreen interest with the Valley Rose Pieris. Finally, we head to the way back garden to brighten the space with Queen of Hearts Brunnera.

Your tours are always so informative. The way back garden is a natural beauty.
Your presentation is so relaxing! Feels like we are right there, walking thru your gardens! Thanks for sharing!
Love your gardens. Thanks for the tour.
Thank you Sunshine, I’m sorry you got stung, hope the swelling and itches go away soon. 🌸💚🙃
Thank you Judy! 🥰🌺🪴🌹
@@Suburbanoasis Your welcome. I made it to Lowe’s tonight nothing worth buying on the clearance rack. I did find three yarrow that I asked them to mark down and they gave them to me half off. Walmart had absolutely nothing, everything is cleared out 😞🌸💚🙃
Ahh, pieris! You're the one that introduced it to me and I was so excited to see a lot of them at Lowe's earlier this summer. I had to grab one and I love it so far. Thank you for sharing your garden with us!
So cool! Glad you found one and love it! 🥰🌺🪴🌹
You’re so right about the deer😆
Beautiful gardens...wish you were my neighbor so I could have those plants you take out LoL
HI, Soleil- great projects. I got a few treasures at clearance as well and have been planting coreopsis, yarrow, and a couple of hydrangeas this week just in time for a thunderstorm today. Thanks for all the ideas. I enjoy watching you garden. Thank you
Great haul! 😃🌺🌷🪻
Soleil - you're a true gardener, being able to withstand your bee allergy and still continuing on in your love of gardening. Everything looks great, I love your way back garden. I was also watching those brunnera in full sun over the last few weeks at Lowe's, that's just silly.
It was so silly! They are happier already. 😉🌱🌸🌷

I am loving all of the silver
Just did trim and fertilized my annual. Your Garden looks amazing
Great job! And thank you. 🥰🌺🪴🍀
Nice garden
Like it's
Good timing on this video! Today I am planting a Pieris ‘Katsura’ and two ‘Jack Frost’ Brunnera in my shade garden, zone 8b on the Olympic Peninsula, WA.
Lovely Soleil 🥰🥰
I have a small “way back” area I call my woodland garden. I need to add some more brunnera and lamium!
Your channel is amazing. The hostas are looking great. Wish I could plant some in the ground but I have no shade. The few I have are in containers. Great work keep it up. 😊😊😊 great Choice of plants!
Thank you so much, Ben!! 🥰☘️🪷🌼
@@Suburbanoasis your very welcome 😄
Awesome garden tour! I’ve gleaned ideas from you😆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️
Hi Soleil, enjoy your videos. You have so much knowledge and experience to share with us. What is the shovel you are using?
It's called a root Slayer and I have a link to it in the description if you want to check it out. Everyone loves em! 🙃☘️🌼🌸
Statice, usually used in dried floral arrangements.. ? Dunno
Yeah, it was a disaster, not doing that again! 😄🥀🍀🌱
I love your garden and your refreshed planter will look so gorgeous! What was that little critter that ran across the screen at 20:06 was that a mouse or maybe a little mole? Anyway it was running for it's life! lol
I love your videos! Jill
Most likely a vole. She did say she had quite a few voles in her yard.
Your hostas at the beginning of this video are just gorgeous, fellow gardener. Just can’t get mine that big here in Zone 9B. What’s your secret?
Plenty of moisture at the beginning of the season seems to help and a good variety that is supposed to get large also makes a difference! 🤗🍀🌸💐
Do you have a problem with Buck Thorn in your way back garden? How do you deal with it 🤷🏻♀️
Yes, it seeds everywhere and I just hand pull what I can when I see it. 🤪🍀🌱🌸
I have 3 very mature Lentin roses (proven Winners bridesmade series) I've lost their tree and they now have lived (this dry summer) in the sun. I need to move them in the fall? How can I divide them without killing them?
They divide pretty much like any other Perennial. You can slice through the roots similar to a hosta. 🥰🌺🌲🌹
Please can you tell me where did you purchase your Slayer shovel from? Thanks in advance
Yes, I keep a link in the description for the video so you can check it out if you want! 🤗🪴🌼💐
@@Suburbanoasis yes I found it after I messaged you. Sorry about that and I order it. I enjoy your videos and I live in Michigan also. Between Ann Arbor and Brighton. I Love to garden Happy Gardening 💐🌸🌼
Hi new subscriber wow your hasta are huge.
Thanks for joining!! 🤗🪴🌷🌸
Will Foxglove grow and bloom in shade?
Part shade, yes! 🥰🍀🪴🌼
@@Suburbanoasis will it take full sun til 2 pm?
Something is chewing on the base of my hostas. What do you use to rid yourself of these pests?
Chewing? Bunnies or slugs
@@Angie-ci1lp it's slugs.. do you use slug bait?
