Current watching you while I’m sick and you’re bringing a smile to my face. Downtown is beautiful, I admire you for running strong while sick. You are one of my biggest running inspirations!! You did it!!!! 👸🏻🔥🩵
You are sick too?? I'm sorry. Hope you get well soon. And I really should have run the whole thing at a 10 min pace. I was feeling so good at the beginning though because of the meds.
Thanks for letting us run with you! You did great, I can’t believe how good your time was (considering you were not feeling 💯) !! Your so close to your goal 🎉 let’s Goooo!
Great job putting it on the line and showing up for your friends, Suzie. A chilly day like that is normally really good weather for a long race, but not so much I'm sure when you're sniffly and having to work to breathe. It looked like a fun course and a great event and I hope you had a good time overall.
I had a lot of fun with my friends afterwards, but this was too cold for my liking and I always struggle, even without a cold 😢 . The feels like temp was 16F. I do much better in 55F to be honest.
Nice job, Suzie! I have heard only good things about the Philly half- and full-courses, and the day will come when I head down there for at least the former, but more likely the latter-mentioned race! Congratulations, especially as you overcame the elements, illness, and the natural rigors of the 21K with gusto!
The Philly half and full are in October. Philly has 3 halfs at the moment, the Love Run in March, the Philadelphia Distance Run in September and the Half Marathon during Marathon weekend in November. The one in November is the nicest course IMO.
i watched the video a couple of hours ago. It took a while to sinc in, it was a typical Suzie race, positive vibes, adversity, tenacity and honesty to the bones, pushing all the chips in the middle before the river card was delt......congratulations for another hard fought battle i was thinking about the story of the little eagle in the chicken coop..... creating the right structure, a grid iron of diversity, variability and constant adaption, but strict rules at the same time, and you fly into the worldof sub 2 hour half with ease
Hopefully April Fools will be it for me. And if not, I am going to keep fighting. I honestly think I have it in me. I was too sick yesterday and I shouldn't have gone out that fast. I ran the first 3 miles in 8:45 avg which would have been fast on a normal day. But with the Sudafed I was flying. I think it doped me a little bit. And then it wore out by mile 7 and I struggled so much. I say struggle but really I should have run the whole thing at a 10min mile like I said I was going to...
Amazing job!!!!!! Thank you for always sharing your races. Love watching them. I was looking at races in Spain and the prices are so inexpensive compare to the US. Madre mia.
Great effort Suzie, seemed windy as well and a brave run especially as you have been and are unwell. You are lovely, softly spoken so please please lower the music volume so that it is easier to hear you especially on the run itself.
Thanks for the feedback. I noticed and I was aggravated. The music seems to be quite high for some reason. 😒 It served me well though. I cursed and no one seems to have noticed 😆.
Try to keep moving to help with the recovery!
Yeah. I am more annoyed with the cold than the soreness. I am not super sore.
@@IRunThings colds are a pain in the neck! Lots of fluids and vitamin C! and keep moving! Feel better soon!
@@Deadbuck73thanks my friend. ❤
Well done Suzie, that’s a great time especially considering you’re not well! Congratulations! 🎊🎉🥂
Yeah, I cannot complain about the time. I suck at pacing myself though 😆😆😆
Awesome job! Really enjoyed the weekend & am tempted to register for 2025 😂hope you’re feeling better! 🙏❤️
It was so fun to hang out!!! And I'd love to have you back.

Great job Suzie, and you were sick too.Feel better soon. 👏
I hate colds... why do they even have to exist?? 😅
You did amazing!! And I definitely want to visit Philly someday! ❤️🤓
You should come for the November half. It has the nicest course.
Congratulations 🎊
Thank you!! Did you run it too?
@@IRunThings no I didn’t

@justanoldfashionedrunner605 my son likes that one. We play poker quite a bit and he's good. He's been playing since he was 7 or so.

Yes they are!!! The most expensive ones are 50 bucks. It's pretty insane
Good job Suzie you did your best!
I am proud! Even though I went out too fast haha
