    Hi Tanzi Brothers, I just ran the 2023 race this past weekend in Philly and feel that your video and tips really helped me with getting my PR! Thank you for encouraging us to aim high and set a concrete goal. That was great advice!

    Great video. Congrats on the 2:47. Hope you got that sub-2:45 in the time since!

      Boston 2023 will be a sub 2:45 attempt! Are you running Philly?

      @@tanzibrothersendurance7041 best of luck! Very likely will be running Philly this year, but haven't yet pulled the trigger (and if it doesn't happen, then I'll do it next year and find some very low key marathon for this season). I'll be shooting for something closer to 3:30, but that would still be a ~20 minute improvement over my PR. I like your idea of aiming high though; maybe I'll have a secret goal that is slightly better than anything I publicly admit to 😏

    You ran a 2:47 on less than 2K miles ?!?!?!?! I'm running Philly on my 50th birthday this Nov and just trying to break 3 hours and I'm prolly gonna hit 3k miles this year. No telling what you could do if you actually trained.

    congrats on that amazing run. I am running in this next year. I am from NJ and about a hour away and was wondering did you stay at a hotel near the start line? I know some local runners would did this and thought it helped them. Also any advice for practice or training on marathon? were your practice long runs 20 miles or shorter? Any tips is appreciated.

      Hi David, thanks for the comment - I stayed at a hotel about a mile away from the start and walked in the morning - wasn’t bad. As for training, I go over a few tips and things that I did leading into this race in this series on my channel, happy to answer more specific questions though! Send me a message on Instagram and we can connect that way! @tanzibrothers

    Hows the crowd support for this marathon? Tons of runners?

    • @tanzibrothersendurance7041
      @tanzibrothersendurance7041  4 года назад +1

      For the whole race weekend (half, marathon and 8k) I think total of close to 30k runners. The crows support was way more than I had expected and it was spaced out nicely. The turn around at mile 19/20 for the marathon was insane!
