It looks pretty good, so far. It had me at Scrambler! The power output & reception was pretty good too. Looking forward to the next video(s). Thanks Freddy! 👍
Freddie! MORE! Need more videos. That way xyl Pam can be pissed at you instead of me. (At least until I buy another radio I’ve seen on your channel)😂😂😂
One thing that I've been going to try with the KT-5000 is using two of them as a budget GMRS repeater. It involves making a crossover cable for the RJ45 mic jacks (pins 2 and 8 on the receive radio to pins 5 and 3 on the transmit radio) and setting the RPT-M on the receive radio using a cheap 20 watt duplexer that I ordered from aliexpress, but I haven't got around to doing it, yet. My concern would be desense.
I have 2 other little QYT radios, which work VERY well. I have been wanting a small dual band, mobile radio, model with a removable face plate. When you mount just a face plate, in a vehicle, its less Obvious, there is some accessory radio there! And that is less prone to view, from thieves!
I don’t have a Spectrum Analyzer. I have to send radios off to other creators who do have one to test it. I don’t want to wear out my welcome with every radio I purchase for a review.
@@HamRadioCrusader yes that's correct ,lot of commercial radios delt with either have USA lmr mode 2 tone or UK/EU PMR mode 5 tones ,think it just radio history But like 5/7.5/10/20kc steps USA and 12.5/25kc step UK lol Both do the same or similar job at end of day 😉 Good it's got both options
Great minds must think alike. I have a QYT KT-8R that I got out of the box this morning. It has been setting there for a minute. Awesome video friend.
I have thought about getting this one for sure. Will be watching after you post.
Great job with this. Looking forward to more on it too. #TeamReplay

How do you scan the memory channels?
We are ready for part two.
I like your videos, just wondering, where's that fancy studio? p.s. Was that a green screen?
Can you explain (on day) what the "2-tone" & "5-tone" features do? I think I know, but don't Really know!
15:30 How cute, your monitor glitched when you keyed up! Hmmmm......
That was actually a CapCut transition I was trying out. Hmmmmm 🤔
Where's part 2
Can you use this for gmrs and what is the power output for those frequencies.

What does this radio on the spectrum analyser? Is he just as bad as the Hiroyasu radio?
