ooohhh your baby in the background is too cute, I love seeing videos that are relatable...it came out great
Projects are fun. I don’t even have a table and I’m watching this
I like the plain white too, not distressed. The table is much more beautiful painted.Nice job 👍
Best to apply Sealer with a Wooster Foam Brush for a perfectly smooth finish
Your table turned out really nice. It's so satisfying dont you think? Your eyelashes are GORGEOUS by the way.
You did a beautiful job. I was not sure about painting my dining room table that my parents left me, but watching your videos I am going to pain the table and chairs. Thank you for posting your how to videos
I'm surprised you didn't put something under those table legs, I would have paint all over
I was thinking the same thing. LOL
I was wondering the same thing. And no gloves? LOL She is brave.
Lol right i look like i am in a paintball fight when i paint and so does my house
Lol I know what your saying from experience! 😁
You saved me $800! Thx.
Thank you for this video. My dining table is about the same as yours and I’ve been dying to revamp it!
I wish you could add the names of the products you use on your description box so it's easier to look for them
Candy S yes I was trying to read the brand and type but It’s difficult.
She used waverly chalk paint in plaster and white and mixed them. & coated with waverly varnish in matte.
I wish she would’ve listed them as well 🤔
Hope this was helpful!
Rosemary thanks Rosemary!
Does she even respond to questions???
@@oreobenavidez5870 Nope! She doesn’t care seems like!
Great video. My neighbors are moving and gave me a bunch of antique furniture from buffets, to a table like this. I'm going to paint it like this. New subscriber. If anyone wants to see my finished stuff just let me know and I can email you pictures.
Looks great!
Thank you for sharing your video, I have a couple of projects that I want to start on, your videos have given me an idea of how I want to paint some furniture 😊
This came at the perfect time!! Can’t wait to do mine! Thank you. 💕
You made it look so easy. I am going to try this. You had me at ..you don’t have to sand. 😊
Beautiful! I was debating on going white or black with my exact table in miniature (it only has three legs). I'm going to go white!
Amazing..
Looks great
Very helpful!
It looks great tfs but what sealant did you use did I miss when you said what it was.
I love you actually
I really liked the end result and thinking to do mine..very nicely explained 👍New friend here👍
I was wondering aboit if I should get that brush, I see is better with it, thanks!
I love your hair 😍
How is it holding up? I want to try this!
I really liked how that table turned out. I will be honest that I am not a fan of the "distressed look" on the TV table, but that white table looks really nice.
What product did you use to seal it?
Thanks for showing this video on how to refinish a table. Usually all I ever see are dressers and other items but not many tables and chairs. Thanks again. Looks great!
We’re you still able to see the paint brush lines after you put the sealant or Top coat ?
From what I see looks like the brand of chalk paint and sealer is waverly
Gorgeous!♥️❤️♥️❤️🌹💕
Dam girl it's amazing nice
It's the same brand for sealer as the paint which she said she got from Walmart. Reading through comments that was a the main question. Mine is more about the "solid wood" claim. It looked like it had sandwiched particle board with veneer or laminate and wanted to inquire more if you could indulge my curiosity.
Do you remember how much paint you needed for the 3 coats? Was the two jars enough? And do you remember how long you waited between the two coats of varnish? Getting ready to do this to our dining table!
How is it holding up?
How has the chalk paint withstood hot plates, spills and hot cups? Any white rings left?
What kind of sealer did you use?
Should I use a brunch like that? Does it help?
What was the sealer that you used? Thanks.
How long after finishing the table before you could use it?!
Which finish paint or product you used??
I bought a used table almost identical to yours - mine doesnt have the split in the center for a table leaf- and I painted it last night. 20 dollars, and I am really happy with it
Did you have to sand it first?
@@AH-yf5pz not if you use chalk paint
I have the same EXACT table and I'm so happy I don't have to sand it before painting!
Tiffany Burgess She sanded it first
What did you use to seal it?
You don’t have to sand with chalk paint!!
thanks for the video .
btw you look gorgeous . beautiful eyes !
Just wondering how the table is holding up with the paint? I want to do this to mine but not sure how it holds up
That's how I feel because with both of my boys and my adult son aka husband lol
I'm just checking out your channel today 2021 cause I'm looking of ways to paint my table I didn't see any varnish just wax which varnish did you use and is it still looking great
Waverly varnish
Were did you get the brush at?
Yeeees hunny got another sub!been putting off doing my dining table and this is super easy yeeees
How do you keep the table from getting stains?
I did everything you did but mine is yellowing a bit. Can I fix it?
I hope you listed the products you use and step by step.
girl we had a table exactly like this one
I have the same table but larger
Would have painted the inside edges of the center split as well....
Hello, how can I get the finish, when using chalk paint, satiny or smooth? I wax but it still feels chalky.
Hope this helps. Sand with as very high grit sandpaper before the protection coat /coats.
What about a dark walnut brown table ? Would I need to sand that down?
Mine was dark, and I sanded mine down.
cool how do I do the opposite though. Have this exact table with the top chalk-painted white and its all stained... yuck
Wow a little goes a long way
What did you use to seal it? Is it a waz or can you use polyurethane?
Wax**
Can I use this method on my kitchen table? will it hold up to daily meals and kids doing homework?
How did this hold up?
My husband and I made a diy chalkpaint. Consistency was so runny and every time we add another coat, it would strip away the previous coats. It's frustrating.
Get Annie Sloan Chalk paint
Thanks
I was going to throw away my coffeehouse table because it dark and old
But not I am going to paint it
Can you tell me why to use chalk paint instead of just regular flat paint? Thank you.....
Robin Conway You don’t have to sand the wood or use a primer if you use chalk paint.
I wish you put links of exactly what you used for your table. To much "ummmmm" for me.
My god, girl, no dropcloth?#@!
(Good video. Especially the first 30 seconds. I'm in the same situation, but I tried to stain my "splotchy" tabletop. Shyla is right, folks. Water-damaged wood won't absorb stain. Thus, I'm painting tomorrow.)
How much did you spend totally?
I was using the sealer with a white T-shirt and like all my paint came off and parts turned yellow. It was the oddest thing. I’m not heavy handed either.
Corina Grace this is happening to me too!!!
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
Ok you have a table, sanded it down, then painted it with a brush, then varnished it, what has anyone learned?
I would not have noticed your nails if you didn`t mention them. Hope you got your pedicure!
I did it myself with the Woodglut plans. I think this is the best way to find out how to build it.
I really like the Woodglut plans.
Nice... Liked it... However - Don't accessorise with cap or hats... You look good minus head gear.
OK, You didn't spill a drop on the floor? All in 7 minutes too, you're super woman. I'm guessing you're having your floors re-done soon too? Anyway, I wish you could come here and paint mine. It looks great
Ur a bitch
I will try to do it with Woodglut plans.
Woodglut is a good solution for every woodworker.
WHY in the world would you ‘paint’ an antique oak table?????
Sorry, I am old person, but is this the new profession, creating shitty videos on the internet, with improper jobs
It's just all white? Boring
I'm really sure you can build it yourself. I did this 2 weeks ago thanks to the Woodglut plans.
I did it too. This is what I used Woodprix designs for
