Thanks for taking the time to make your videos, I've been a window tinter for 35 years, and I'm just learning to wrap now. Your attention to detail and explanations are fantastic.
Christian your awesome brother! watching and learning from you has given me the confidence to wrap my hood.. I would live to wrap my bumper. here's my question.how do you do an inlay using the carbon fiber film? I can see the pattern could be a real bear. Thank you for teaching without curse words. I watch your videos with my kids in the room with me and I don't have to worry. Your a blessing!
+David Eubanks hey David, doing an inlay with carbon fiber would be more difficult because you're right, you have to line up the weave. It can be done, you'll just have to be precise and take your time
I've used Vvivid film multiple times before and I don't know what to think of it. Can't decide if its easier or more difficult to work with compared to avery/3m film
these videos are a huge help and a huge inspiration. I have a question about plasti dip maybe going on top of the vynl wrap like if I did a stencil and hit it with plasti dip on top of the wrap would that theoretically work?
Love your videos and thanks for posting. I am having a problem with an Indian Chieftain Front fender using 3M1080. What would you recommend on how to approach this. I try and just get all bunched up after I start rounding from the top.
HI Fantastic job yet again , you make it look so easy I am hoping to have a go at wrapping my car soon . I would like to know the brand of wrap you use ? as i think the brand may make a difference to the easy of the fitting as the glue must vary from brand to brand many thanks for all your videos
+mark hallett hi, we enjoy using several brands. Some brands are easier to install like Avery and Vvivid while others like 3m, Hexis, Oracal and kpmf are a little more work
Do you have any videos with crazy front bumpers like the nismo v2 bumper. I am wondering how to wrap the middle section as well as crazy hoods with 6 vents
hey my brother I tell you I like all your videos I want to ask you how I miss a 2008 Nissan Nissan I want to make mine is an old car but it is in very good condition and I would like to plasticize it, some advice I am in the Dominican Republic
another great video appreciate the help...Can you make a little in depth video on places you need to heat and places you need to avoid heating to avoid lifting/peeling in the future? I was watching this and thought a lot of places that was heated like the recessed areas (e.g 45:25 onwards) might cause lifting from watching other peoples videos but I guess I don't understand it fully yet
I'm learning wraps myself and was wondering about that. Keep in mind though the vinyl he's using is chrome which is usually thicker than a standard paint replacement vinyl. So in a situation where you may not need heat to relax standard paint replacement vinyl into some recessed areas that may not be the case for this vinyl. Also Vvivid vinyl has different technology than Avery or 3M.
You want to use vehicle wrap film. Avery is good but they make vinyl for every application. You specifically would want paint replacement film. A lot of the paint replacement films are pre laminated and ready to apply. Try fellers.com they sell anything you might need.
im looking to wrap my g37 without spending too much on the vinyl. does anyone know where to buy good/ decent material for a good price? i dont want to go the super cheap route, i want it to look, feel, and be good material i just dont have too much money to work with. if anyone has info itd be greatly appreciated.
CK Wraps I've been watching a lot of your videos and I'm planning on wrapping my 2013 accord this spring. I was just wondering on how much wrap I would need. And any extra tips for a beginner. Thanks and keep up the good work!
heat is heat. I prefer torches to heat guns. But that's because I have a great feel for torches. Actually I use two torches on bumpers. One in each hand with another guy pulling top bottom once I get glass.
+Maria Begacheva we remove the bumper first to take out grills, fog lights etc. Then we mount it again because it's easier to wrap while it's on the vehcu
my hat goes off to those that take on this type of project. It's too much of a pain in the ass for me. The pulling and heating, re-pulling and heating, pulling again, and pull again.... re-pulling the same spot for one tiny wrinkle... oh god! I would surely shoot my brains out.
It looks like a dent in the rear fender just above the wheel where you are standing at the end of the video. I hope the owner didn't have a wrap put on a dented car?
Bro... what I would give to have you near Florida so I can have you do this... The piece of junk this company did on my car is beyond real. Currently working with the owner to get it redone or get my money back.
feel like an idiot... for some reason I thought you guys were in Canada or something... If I get my money back, definitely taking a trip down there... I saw your website says 5 hours for a wrap? Is that correct?
+Edwing Gonzalez it isn't 5 hours, I wish. The calendar won't allow us to change the time accordingly. It's usually 2-4 days depending on the car and finish it could be a little longer. If you get your money back just reach out to us, we'll be here and we'll make it as perfect as possible.
+Edwing Gonzalez that's the idea, it's not something we want to rush. Just let us know when you're ready or contact us and we can get you a quote in the meantime
with all due respect. I laughed when you stuck magnets on the unstuck portion of vinyl while you were heating the other side because you were afraid of pulling the vinyl off the car.
Thanks for taking the time to make your videos, I've been a window tinter for 35 years, and I'm just learning to wrap now. Your attention to detail and explanations are fantastic.
apa wrap by far the best wrap I have every used . so easy to use and smooth like butter

I've used Vvivid film multiple times before and I don't know what to think of it. Can't decide if its easier or more difficult to work with compared to avery/3m film
Very nice work! Thanks for this tips! ✌🏽from Germany
Watching your vidz makes me want to wrap my Tesla, myself.

Thanks for the infor think il start with my mirrors then work my way up cheers
Cool color
Vivid makes some good colors their matte white is flatter satin and looks similar to this (adhesive wise)
Jake Brabec their wrap blows. one year later and my hood has all kinds of bug chips/rips.
Trendin Forward all vinyl does that lol, it’s like paper compared to actual paint protection film.
Am planning on wrapping my motorcycle, wondering if you have ever done one and if you have any advice, thanks
How much wrap would I need to buy to wrap a 2005 Chevy cobalt sedan?
good as always.
Wish I could see you do more trucks!
do you need to laminate this film or is it ready to wrap from vvivid? looks alot improved from their old chrome film! thanks for the help
+ATrueKneeGrow hey, this film doesn't need lamination. It's super durable and very scratch resistant
does the heat allow the vinyl to stretch or shrink? or both??? long video, but very informative
Stretch. as it cools it shrinks unless it's stuck to something.
love the videos man
Do you have any videos with crazy front bumpers like the nismo v2 bumper. I am wondering how to wrap the middle section as well as crazy hoods with 6 vents
when wiull this color be in stock again? :(
hey my brother I tell you I like all your videos I want to ask you how I miss a 2008 Nissan Nissan I want to make mine is an old car but it is in very good condition and I would like to plasticize it, some advice I am in the Dominican Republic
Can you do sample piece showing the cheap eBay film compared to a quality film what the big difference would be?
@ CK wraps....show us tips/ tricks for cutting the vinyl without damaging the paint...please
Knife less tape
i see some people use like a 36" infrared heater when stretching the bumper . DO they work good heating up a large area ?
+Steven Andrews yes they work great, especially for solo installers
hi sir. it is ok to wrap without take out the headlight, foglamp or badgea
Mr Ri yes.

I want to try and take the time to wrap my C6 myself. Is there a certain film you recommend for beginners?
Avery

Good job amazing
Going to have to wrap my g35 coupe!
So u don't necessarily have to remove bumpers to do a good wrap?
Why would you?
im looking to wrap my g37 without spending too much on the vinyl. does anyone know where to buy good/ decent material for a good price? i dont want to go the super cheap route, i want it to look, feel, and be good material i just dont have too much money to work with. if anyone has info itd be greatly appreciated.
Hey did you use any adhesive promotors in the sharp recesses or anywhere at all on the bumper?
+KCustomDesign nope, we don't carry any adhesive promotors here like primer 94 or pro bond
CK Wraps I've been watching a lot of your videos and I'm planning on wrapping my 2013 accord this spring. I was just wondering on how much wrap I would need. And any extra tips for a beginner. Thanks and keep up the good work!
5x60 is enough if you're sensible and don't waste film. Order extra if you're concerned
awesome bud! how long does the vinyl last life span on it?
Fully dependent on how you care for it. Not sure on the specs for the film he is using but a good wrap can last 5-7 years.
Kit Truong this one I guaranteed to hold up for 3 years if installed properly. Pretty sure it'll last longer if you take care of it
"and ive done like fkin 30 of these things" lmao well said. hows the move going from Miami my man?
How can I find who does this install in my area ?
Where can i buy these wraps from and how much does it cost total to buy materials for an average car
$400-$500 usually in materials if you do all the work yourself. More if you do chrome or color shift or anything crazy like that.
oh really? thanks for letting me know
cost ?
dope
Where do i buy wrap?
Genny! I got one too
heat is heat. I prefer torches to heat guns. But that's because I have a great feel for torches. Actually I use two torches on bumpers. One in each hand with another guy pulling top bottom once I get glass.
How much is a average sedan wrap?
+j dan they start at $2k and can go up to 8 or 9k
Why not take the bumper skin off to do the install?
+Maria Begacheva we remove the bumper first to take out grills, fog lights etc. Then we mount it again because it's easier to wrap while it's on the vehcu

My grandma wore her hair like you do

definitely will... quality is more important than time for me.

Stop using the Air compressor does nothing but put paticals in the air , this is only used when the car in washed to remove water .
Umm... I don't know what air compressor you're talking about... It's a heat gun.
A R T
with all due respect. I laughed when you stuck magnets on the unstuck portion of vinyl while you were heating the other side because you were afraid of pulling the vinyl off the car.
I dont even care abt the wrap, look at that hair thooo
听不懂我就看看
it's better just to paint the car
Depends on if you're willing to spend the money for a quality paint job. A quality wrap will cost less than even a cheap paint job.
