Rocket Jump Ninja I cannot make up my mind on which mouse I should buy. I am right handed and really like Razer so I have narrowed it down to the Basilisk, Death adder Elite, and Lance head TE. I mostly play games like CS:GO and play more competitively. What mouse would you recommend? I know the sensors are good across all of them so I am not worried about that. I am leaning towards the lancehead due to hand size, but like I said, I am right handed so is the ambidextrous design comfortable? Or should I not even consider it? I have watched all your reviews and still cannot make up my mind. *Edit* here is my hand measurements - length ( 7.5 in) x width (4.1 in)

Did the Kiyo shining a light into your eye cause a problem? The thing is, when the light is strong this causes you to squint, and this makes you look unfriendly and aggressive, which is not a good thing in a conference.
Yeah personal preference. I didn't like how sharp the sound was on the Brio, actually prefer listening to the C922. Brio definitely sharpest visually, but so much noise (high iso) and low shutter when dealing with low light... prefer the Kiyo for that reason. Again, depends why you want a cam.
Rocket Jump Ninja how was the kiyo performing with its light tuned off. Just want to know the sensor performance. If I had some sort of backlighting, would that give the Brio an edge over the rest ?
@@RocketJumpNinja There is no light in the shot of the Brio so it is not a "fair" comparison. Easy mistake to make but cameras are light sensitive and having different levels of light when comparing cameras is unbalanced.
Thanks for this video! I tried to buy the 922 on Amazon but sellers are hiking up the prices because of the increased demand. I'm not paying $300 for a slightly used webcam! I picked up the last Kiyo at a local Gamestop yesterday and I'm looking forward to using it for work and play.
i just got the Razer Kiyo just yesterday because I found it cheaper in store for $88 compared to online which was $100 so I just went ahead and bought it. I have been messing around with camera settings and overall this is a good webcam! I really love this for my first ever webcam.

Nice Video. Would you suggest the Kiyo if you are just randomly needing a webcam for Streaming and maybe the lighting. For example my girlfriend is sleeping in the background. Would the cam be focused on my face or would the illumination be too low? This would then of course ease up on my setup so I do not have to put lamps in a special way so people would only see my face.
The light is a bit misleading... it helps, but it's not like it can be relied on as a single light. That said, if you absolutely had to do that, it's still probably the better bet because it at least does give some light. Won't see anything in the background that's for sure, it's too weak.

For me, the Logitech Brio is the hands-down winner among these four. Simply because, despite the lack of light ring, the recording it captures appears brighter and sharper than that of Razer Kiyo.
the c922 has major driver problems in windows 10. it was so choppy in OBS its insane. there was nothing i could do to fix it. So I might switch to the Razer Kiyo. FFS!!!.
If the Razer does not come with software how do you use it outside of OBS.... for example with Skype and other cam based sites.... i mean how would you adjust zoom/brightness/colour/gain and so on...... thanks.
The 922 has known compatibility issues with certain usb connections. If you're using it in a USB 3.x socket, try putting it in a 2.0. This seems to fix issues some people are having.

Thanks for the review. Was hoping that Razer Kiyo would perform, but the blown highlights and incredible loss of detail (esp. in low light) are the deal-breakers for me. Brio looks ok(ish), but the quality is nowhere near the the price Logitech ask for it.

Went and bought the Brio from this review.....hate it .....well it was so hard to install that I didn't get a chance to use it. I am not very savvy so I really need something plug and play. This was an amazing review though
hey zy....can u recommend me a mouse similar to the shape of a4tech bloody v3m.....v3m is a very cheap mouse with an ancient sensor.a very popular choice in my country....but i love the shape specially the right grip....please check the mouse and recommend me a similar shape.....i used ec2 and g403...just cant get the comfort and feel i got from v3m....i use claw grip keeping ring and pinky fingers resting straight....gg m8
OBS has known major issues with 3 or more simultaneous webcams. I suspect this is why the C922 had problems for you. It has nothing to do with the cam itself, simply that OBS happened to have the C922 as the last link in the chain and thus received the issues. My friends and I had an ordeal with this a few months ago running C920s where we couldn't get the last one to work at all, I'm surprised it worked for you at all. To verify this is the reason, you could swap the USB inputs around or run it with fewer cams.
C922 barely works even when it's the only cam plugged in. I've had it for over a year, so don't think it was just during this test that I had issues with it. Used it with multiple computers with multiple configurations and had multiple problems.

Maybee try out the Beyerdynamic MMX300 (2nd gen) headphones. For those interested in high grade gaming headphones. They arent wireless tho for your taste, but for the plebs. And maybee some soundcard alternative and 7.1 surround sound software for gaming if you wich to buy headphones without built in surround driver. Mainstream headphones usually delivers quite bad sound, from my experience and by looking at the opinions from the community. Good sound is King!!

That sounds like what I would've said. I haven't watched this video in ages, but wasn't the C922 better than the C920, and the Brio was the best for faces but Kiyo best for mouse cam? That's my current thought. Can't remember the sound.

You are supposed to set up your lighting, then turn off light change compensation with the cam software.

Bought the c920 when it was on sale a while back...definitely a very solid choice for a webcam
