Obviously disregard my “this is what works for me” declaration regarding taping the bottom rim of the dark design tumblers - still working on that 🤦♀️🤣
When using the shrink wrap in the tumbler press, cover with paper, then press. I don't even use the paper anymore I found my wipes clean with a paper towel when it's still warm 😊
i have seen ads from home depot and michael's this past week for halloween items, so yes it absolutely IS halloween season 😁🎃 i really like the one with the big tree
They all came out great I'm not generally a huge fan of the glitter subs (you know I eneded up just hydropdipping mine) but the gold one came out amazing!
Thanks!! Yeah, I finally got the top rim figured out, but the bottom - esp with dark designs - is obnoxious. I often just switch to full waterslide wraps for dark graphics 🙄😁
The channel INDUSTRIAL fringe has a really good video on wrapping and taping up cups for sublimation. He’s funny too (to me anyway 😁). You are so much more advanced than I am though but it might help with the bottoms. 😁 Amazing tumblers… as always!!!
@@Luxinda I just watched your collaboration with Ant and his video also. I thought for sure someone was going to come running in to check on me I was laughing so hard! Keep up the awesome videos! You are very much appreciated!!
I have the same printer and love it!!! But I did not know the printer automatically mirrors the images! I’m gonna try not mirroring the images because I have had a heckuva time trying to figure out how to get the images mirrored. I mirrored everything and it showed me that it was mirrored on the preview when I printed it it was not mirrored. I tried it using several different computers. I finally figure out how to get the images to print mirrored, it made no sense on how I had to do it. My husband even printed and he had the same problem. He says that I always have. It was funny because he said that I always have technical difficulty when it comes to electronics which he isn’t wrong. But this time I was doing it correctly and it was just not printing mirrored. But I’m working on a project right now, so I’m going to print something And see if it mirrors without me changing the setting to mirror.
Have you ever done toiled leather? I’m having a time… watched so many videos, really want to learn black tooled leather…I don’t think I’ve got it….maybe you can do one? I absolutely love your videos, thanks for doing what you do! 👍🏽👍🏽
That’s something I’ve never tried. I think my ex-husband did at some point - I know he had a set of leather-working tools - but never saw him try it. Looks beautiful on guitar straps! Anyway, if it’s not overly expensive to get into, just give it a try! Experiment and have fun 😊
I love the bright swirl pattern and the pink floral they are my favorite, they all turned out really good. Where did you get the floral pattern? How do you resin a sublimated tumbler and get the resin to stick and not peel off? I had that happen to me with one I did using KS resin.
I didn’t list the floral pattern art in the Description because the Etsy store I bought it from is closed. And the best way I’ve found when resining over a sub tumbler is to start by spraying a couple layers of clear spray paint (matte or semi-gloss) on the cup first, and the resin is happy sticking to that.
@@anneosborn475 great question! I have used both, and I do think the 120 is a little brighter with color transfer than the 125. However, it’s not so noticeable (to me) that I would toss out the 125 I have left, if that makes sense. But, yeah, when I’m ready to buy more sub paper, I’ll get the A sub 120. As for working better in different situations, I haven’t really tested that, so I honestly don’t have an opinion. I know Angie Holden has done many, many sublimation tests on her channel and might have a better answer for you.
I will pat on some alcohol ink then resin over the whole cup. I hate the extra work, but it’s better than tossing the cup. Another option is spray paint over the whole thing and use the cup for a resin design of some sort. I’ve seen videos where folks try to bleach and reuse sub tumblers, but that’s also a lot of work and doesn’t always look very good (just my opinion).
I can't believe how rude/bossy some people can be trying to tell you how to do things. I'll suggest things that I hope are helpful, but I'm not ever going to say YOU MUST DO IT THE WAY I SAY OR YOU ARE JUST WRONG. That's so uncool and block worthy as far as I'm concerned. Yes manners should still be a thing even on line. Just sayin'. LOL. I haven't tried sublimation, but I'm wondering if you don't bring the design all the way down to that curve at the bottom if that would help. Just a thought. If you wanted to tape it at the bottom still, for good measure, you could run a single piece of tape around the bottom of the image. It might to save you some time from having to kind of do that back and forth thing maybe? I hope that makes sense. They all came out cool. I'm running a Epson ET-4700 and I love it, but I hope at some point I can get another Epson for Sublimation Ink. Thank you for sharing your work. I always enjoy it. 🥰
Yeah, I definitely have the tendency to either trim the bottom too short so it looks stupidly cut off and white or not cut it short enough. It’s very rare when I get it just right, especially with black or dark colored solid designs like those 2 Halloween wraps I did in this video. In fact, I gave up trying to sublimate the most popular Sanderson Sisters, Hocus Pocus wrap which is mostly black, and do that strictly as a waterslide now…

Goldie Hawn on Laugh In….one of my favorite shows growing up ❤😂
Same here 😁🥰
Thank you for showing the different cups! Love them all!

I never had good results with sublimation. Glad it works for you
It definitely takes some getting used to and practice. Even now, I cross my fingers every time I sublimate a tumbler.
These turned out so pretty.Tfs.😊
What do you mean it isn’t Halloween season?! 😱 🎃👻 I love how these came out.
😄😄😄👻🎃💀
It's always Halloween season! 😅

They are all great and I think Pink on Pink is beautiful. ❤
Awesomeness - they turn out great- have a great weekend
Thanks!!! You too 😁😁

Thanks!! Yes, hydro dipping them is a great alternative!!
The second one unwrapped was STUNNING. love, love, looooove these videos!
Thank you!!😊
They all came out sooo beautiful 😍 love them all ❤stay blessed love 🥰
Thanks so much 😊
Very cool! The wrap designs are awesome! Yeah love the gold glitter one the best! The glows are fantastic! Great job Cindy 👍👏😍
Love the Glow!! They are all pretty!! I have to do my cup butt again pulled into the middle to prevent that ghosting….
Thanks!! Yeah, I finally got the top rim figured out, but the bottom - esp with dark designs - is obnoxious. I often just switch to full waterslide wraps for dark graphics 🙄😁
I love the white and silver glitter. I use black line designs on pink, picks up great. Great job.
Sweet love them 😊
Love all of these!
Beautiful! What a fairly easy way to get multiple cups done in a short period of time
Beautiful! Great demonstration. Love all but my fav is that blue glow cup
I love these. The jelly blue glow is my favorite ❤. There is depth in that one❤
Thanks! I just love the jelly designs
I have yet to see one of your Tumblers that wasn’t beautiful! ❤.
Thank you! 😊
I love ya and your channel! Still not doing sublimation! ❤💛💚💙💜🌈🌠
Lol!! That’s totally cool 😎
This is a great tutorial. Thank you for sharing!

When you have the ghosting on the bottom, do you sell as is. Or do you do anything to fix?
