Nice one, just bought one last night and wanted to check out for some reviews before unboxing. You are right PARKSIDE tools are great especially for the price. I have a drill that i used a lot for the past year and it still works perfect . Thanks
I got this and the circular saw but recently went onto aldi and they have a new 40/20v range called ferrex tools I got the lot apart from lawnmower and I have to say I'm impressed especially with the cordless chainsaw and the Strimmer but mostly the hand tools they are very good and the best thing is the screwfix erbauer batteries fit the ferrex stuff and vice versa
Hi, I have never tried to cut metal but I am sure that with the right blade it would cut thin metal. If you are thinking of cutting thicker sheet you probably need a 240v machine.
I ordered one. I have an very good powerful Makita jigsaw. But i must always unroll electrical cord to saw something outside. Very annoying. This is the solution for me. Every now and then I have to saw something. I have ordered an extra 4 ampere battery. I am not so enthusiastic about the pendulum possibility on a jigsaw, it always gives a rough battered cut Then just a little more time.
The splinter guard is very inconvenient to use, you can hardly see the line anymore. The protection cap is also very inconvenient to use and also obstructs the view. Furthermore, a good machine for that money
I am sorry but, you should not review a product if you do not understand how they work The speed is controlled by the trigger not the 123 switch that is a pendulum control that is it controls if blade goes up and down straight or moves back and forth at same time. this is a common switch on many jigsaws
Right .. And the blower simply channels the motor fan towards the blade as to "blow" the saw dust away allowing you to see the path. I hope he's figured that out by now 🤷🏽♀️
Maybe get an adapter? I have milwaukee batteries and got one off ebay to use with my parkside stuff. Also they often don't put out the batteries in the stores, you have to ask.
