Just saw these videos you made Andrew.
What is better to keep the Parkside Jigsaw (PSTDA 20 B3) or jigsaw & Sabre saw (PASSA b2)?

Excellent as always.. I will buy tomorrow..
I brought the parkside 20v angle grinder a few months ago.. I noticed the battery is not the same as the other parkside ones

Jigsey's Workshop is it the parkside Performance Version? That Serie is a more powerful park side Serie and have a brushless motor and bigger battery

It is mostly unboxing content, as the test is just cutting a piece of MDF off :) Relevant would be to see it it cuts straight freehand and the parallel guide. I also own one and is a nice one, best for the price, just that it has difficulties to cut straigth, the blade will also deflect in thicker wood( 3cm pine), i have to check if i can adjust it somehow.

Nice review. It's a shame Lidl seem to have stopped selling these as 'bare units'. I have enough spare batteries and chargers and would rather buy additional tools without these included to save money.

Yes and it's impossible to order online however aldi new ferrex 40/20v stuff is easy to get online and all as bare tools charger 15 drill 20 battery 30 or 15 for the 20v and easy to get online plus they have the Strimmer hedge trimmer chainsaw all I need is the sabre saw and circular saw and jigsaw and I'll probably return Parkside stuff

Thanks Andrew, but that link only seems to supply batteries and accessories and not the bare units-unless I'm missing something??

@@Rob.Coleman same why lidl make it so hard I spent over an hour trying to order tools only thing that was available was battery and charger and accessories. But the aldi site very easy to order. I was planning on going Parkside all the way as I have there jigsaw drill and circular saw but went into aldi for milk ended up with the drill, impact driver, grinder, multi tool and stimmer and hedge trimmer and chainsaw 😂 hopefully they will bring out a sabre saw and jigsaw and circular saw soon I'll take my Parkside stuff back. Gotta say I'm impressed with ferrex so far tools seam better built but Parkside batterys have a nicer feel and build quality. But the activ energy ones are still good plus the big battery is 40v the grinder only works off a 40v same with chainsaw

I have this and the circular saw and drill and was going to get there other stuff but it's impossible to order online. Anyway went into aldi and they have a new 40/20v range called ferrex and they are very good I got the drill, impact driver, grinder, multi tool, chainsaw and Strimmer and hedge trimmer and I'm impressed I will say the Parkside batteries seem better made but they are only 20v the big 40v are 5ah and the 20v are 2.5ah so I think I'm going to take my Parkside stuff back and wait for aldi to release the circular saw and sabre saw only thing about the ferrex drill is it don't have hammer function but at £20 for a bare tool it's a bargain

Button is actually press sensitive, depth of pressing determine the rpm.

    I ordered one.
I have an very good powerful Makita jigsaw.
But i must always unroll electrical cord to saw something outside. Very
annoying. This is the solution for me. Every now and then I have to saw
    something.
I have ordered an extra 4 ampere battery.
I am not so enthusiastic about the pendulum possibility on a jigsaw, it always gives a rough battered cut
Then just a little more time.

Just a warning, these are far from precision tools. The blade isn't even straight in the machine. Impossible to make good straight cuts.
Yes, another brand is probably 3x the price. At least then you have a good saw.
This is only good for demolishing pallets..
