Took your good advice and purchased Axair MIAP Pro24 (Xbox selected), just received.
As a newbie to AutoPilot, NAV & Radio complete numpty, I'd find it so useful if you do get around to producing your tutorial on how to assign missing bindings. So that all the buttons & knobs will work on the MIAP. It would be amazing. Instead of my Starter Status grappling with how to not only learn how to operate G1000, but to also achieve best from that learning by getting best out of MIAP24 (Xbox).
My Axair MILI23 will soon be on the way, so if you get yours, the same kindly request applies.
Thanks for all your excellent help and contributions, as always. Ray
I'll have to get around to making that setup video for the MIAP.
Absolutely love mine alongside with the MILI24, my wife got my original MIAP
these lessons and product reviews are Spot on.
Thanks Mike
Very convincing video @Huddison. I ordered mine right away for my Xbox series X.
Nice; let us know how you get on with it.
Thank you. It looks amazing and really functional.
It's amazing on the Xbox Doc.
Looks a very handy unit. Another addition to my Christmas list added.
It'll be great along side your V1 Yoke ;)
This sounds like the perfect companion panel for the Turtle Beach Flight One Flight Stick. This will free up many Flight Stick buttons that are currently used for AP functions. I will order the MIAP when my situation allows.
I can imagine it'll be great with the V1 FS on Xbox.
Just arrived today 25th June 2024. Set to PC & checked detected in MSFS 2020 & will assign the buttons later.
Ordered 9th June
Dispatched 19th June
Delivered 25th June (By Royal Mail) in UK .
Will test it out & post again.
Mapped everything up & tested it on the Ground as its too warm for a flight with the heat the RTX 3080 puts out🤣
I thank my Cooler box in the rare heatwaves we get over in the UK 😆
This unit looks very useful. Thanks for the demonstration.
I like that it has more independent knobs than the single knobbed Octavi.
What I would like is something that can be practically used to program an FMC. My Octavi is a bit limited with an FMC, so I've been relying on my Loupedeck, which is a bit complicated to use. Maybe the MIAP Pro fits the bill.
It sounds like it could do what you're looking for.
Wow perfect timing mr huddison, i was looking at this last week but wasnt sure. ordered one straight after watch this video. keep up the good work mate
Excellent; let us know how you fare with it.
When is it due to e delivered?
@@stephenmason5682 Hi turned up yesterday 25/6 took about two weeks not had chance to try it yet
I was looking at getting the Behringer X-TOUCH MINI as I can program it using axis and ohs software. And use it with my other Sims
looks great - thanks not seen before.
I just hope all the virtual and home made cockpits and all the panels work with the new msfs 2024 or there gonna be many tears with the amounts of money and devices people have purchased for msfs 2020.
I can imagine that a lot of these types of peripherals will; even if it takes a bit longer for Asobo to enable functionality.
Very cool! I have a multipanel and really like it but it doesn’t work on all planes. I like the size and added features on this unit. I don’t have the radio panel and am not sure I want another unit that size. I might consider buying one of these and selling my multipanel.
Well worth it Carol.
Good stuff tyty . Is USA shipping. Available ?
I'll wait till November 20th want it for FS 24 . Hopefully its not going to be a issue 👀👍✌️.
I'm not certain re US shipping - might be worth contacting them.
Just ordered one on the strength of this video. £10 shipping to the UK so the discount basically brings it back to £94 all in.
Stock coming from Thailand so Halifax sent me a alert about a charge & declined the payment but the order went through on the Website anyway & Ive got an Order no. I did authorise the payment through Halifax as they always message you to see if it was you that made that payment so I authorised the payment. So Im taking it that the company will process the payments before dispatch as the order has gone through on the website. Will keep an eye out for any emails regarding payment issues & can see CC on the app for any pending charges.
Lets hope it sails through Customs without any further charges.
Fingers crossed all goes through and well for you.
Just ordered one for my Xbox X on your recommendation and remembered the 10% discount (‘coupon’ on their order form) code. UK purchasers will pay £10 for shipping.
The discount kind of equals that out then 😀
Arrived today!
@@graeabarth2227 Enjoy!
Some nifty product. In essence it is just a keyboard controller with an interface to connect the buttons and knobs. Because it is a keyboard controller, the XBox can handle it. Smart. I wonder how it operates when another real keyboard is attached to the XBox. But maybe one can connect multiple keyboards to the device. I would not want to sacrifice my keyboard, as it is useful when typing destination airports and such.
It works great alongside an actual keyboard, no conflicts at all
@@TPHI17 great, thanx!
I just buy one!
Thanks for this, I’ve had mine sat on top of my Boeing yoke for a month as I was stumped how to get it going….i may have made a boo-boo as I did push the reset button once to see if it made do something…oops, on Xbox x
Just read the manual and it states this is something you should never do as it’s reserved for their technicians 😢 I should contact them directly to see what they suggest.
If you don't have it up and running check their website/support and if you feel confident enough to do it, update the firmware (You'll need to put the MAIP into PC mode and have an available PC to do this).
@@graeabarth2227 thanks for that, I’ve messaged them
We need Xbox VR....😢
100% we do.
HUDD10 appears invalid
You are typing HUDD (one zero)? I'll contact Axair and enquire.
@@Huddison I am typing HUDD10
@@Huddison also remember that Rosen (bless him) built me one for Xbox (majorlag)
I've sent them an email
@@Huddison Just ordered one with the discount code at 1925 BST (British Summer time)
I got the original MIAP for Christmas. Paid almost £100 including postage. Total and utter rip off. It’s just a keyboard with some extremely poor quality buttons and rotaries.
Many buttons don’t do what they are supposed to do and cross talk with other buttons. When setting up you can press the same button 5 times and get 5 different inputs. Rubbish!
It’s definitely not a rip off when you consider how many man hours have gone into hand making these. The buttons and dials work perfectly fine I had the original and now have handed it down to my wife as I have received the new one and have had absolutely no issues so you’re either doing something wrong or if there is an issue with it reach out to them, they will rectify your issue.
You've saved me replying the exact same sentiments.
@@TPHI17 considering my V1 flightick cost £5 more than this puts it into perspective just how poor quality the MIAP is. I understand they don’t have the economy of scale that TB have but frankly that’s not my issue.
@@onegoodknock not sure how that puts anything into perspective. But to each their own just like any product in the world. One person might love it. Another person might hate it. Can’t make everyone happy.
@@TPHI17TB V1 £100 (excellent quality and works well) MIAP £90 (poor quality and doesn’t work well. Can’t even update the firmware on it as the firmware tool recognises it as a MILI 23)
I agree with you, each to their own, but personally I expect much better for £100.
Absolutely pointless. All the things it can do can be and is better using a mouse! If you dont have a mouse it would be handy (ish) but £95 you could get a mouse and have change spare. 🤧
Except you have to move your view down to the panel to manipulate some things with the mouse. With this you can just reach out IRL and turn a knob or push a button.
To each their own, I find it way more immersive and easier than using my mouse.
BB, I feel you’re missing the point. Yes you could use your mouse and you can fly using your keyboard but it’s not really all that immersive is it.
This allows us X-Box users an option for a closer to realistic feeling/flying.
@wallymurray620 I use both turtle beach yoke or stick with mouse and keyboard tbh so maybe you missed something. It may feel nice to flick a toggle swith or push a real button of coarse but using your mouse to look around find a button/switch is closer to reality than the option your on about and it's my opinion.
Don't like it trot on 🤧
@lancepeltier1081 of coarse you'll have to look around to find/see the interaction/button/switch, but you surely have to in real life 😉
