Thanks for insight into t540. Good saw, but bit touchy. Still have a 335 and 338. Husky talked a lot about t540 before it hit the street. One would have thought it had a cigarette lighter and mountain money dispenser on it. It spewed gas out of air filter on hot days. Acted like older metal saws when got hot. Like Dodge or GM, husqvarna wud not admit design flaws. Glad they remedied after about 10 years with new version. Gonna replace gas tank soon, with confidence after watching ur gas tank replace repair. Thanks

Each person and repair are completely different. Thru your videos I’m seeing a large variety of items. How hard do they yank
Ya even the exact same repair for two different people can be different. The goal is a happy customer that pays his bill with no whining.
Any idea why these models seem to spew out gas out the air filter? I have a mark 2
They do spew a lot and seem to get worse as compression goes down. Haven't seen enough new ones to know if its still a problem.
So more than likely the piston and case need replaced?

The duck bill valve in the tank vent shouldn't allow fuel to pass. Have you inspected the vent?
I recommend the Echo Red Armor non ethanol pre mix gas ⛽

Wow how the hell does it run at all with pulse line off? New one to me!!
The tank vent holds a little pressure so if pressure builds in the tank and tries to escape then some fuel finds its way to the carb.
