This where it started for me too.
Dude this is where I throw down after work, learned to ride. I went to the high school right around the corner. We were very lucky to grow up where we did because another local hill called sunburst had a very good terrain park manager who worked at windells. Switz was closed for like ten years and when the new owners bought it they sparked a war of terrain parks. While switz was closed Sunburst had been listed in trans world multiple times for the park, so switz had big shoes to fill. Sadly ownership change at sunburst affected the park scene there a few years after switz reopened.

so this year they added Terrain Based Learning so kids and beginners can learn on different features like rollers, flats and banks. can't wait to take my kiddo there this year!

Love this place. They also uses the lifts in the summer for a mountain bike park which is awesome if you’re stuck living in the Midwest.

@@JohnathanBuckhouse hey local here there is also a backside park called small park with 7 features, they recently added moguls, they have a chute, and doubled the size of the terrain park you were on the place is always expanding
Come to mountain creek in Jersey. You’d be surprised to see how crazy and hectic New Jersey park riding is

I was just here today for my best skiing day ever. It’s a small hill but we had deep powder! Can’t believe my home hill has 20k views!

this is were it all started for me. I was hoping you would hit it up, probably the best ski hill in southeastern wisco. our school ski club would go here every Sunday night ($14 for bus ride and lift ticket). my mom now lives in wautoma, WI, which is were Nordic mountain is located. thank you for the nostalgia.
@@The_Wack this was back in the 90's, so I am pretty sure the ski club doesn't exist anymore. we use to have a ski team as well at one point. your ski club needs to go to northern New mexico instead. this is where I live, everything is so much more affordable, specifically the ski resort sipapu has great group rates.

Yo u gotta come out to Boston mills, brandywine here in Ohio. They r two separate resorts and we were just bought by vail. U could even hit both resorts in one night if u wanted they r like 5 mins apart from each other. The parks at both resorts r sick and super different from each other and diverse in the features. Best time to come is when the build the jump line.

You can probably fix the jacket. Dawn w/ a scrubber to get rid of the rust. Then tenacious tape in clear over the cut and on the inner side. It's not perfect, but still would be usable

My ski hill isn’t going to open until January 21 cause of COVID lock down in Ontario 😔, but it is still nice to see someone getting to shred
U have to go to pine knob resort sometime in like the middle of the year they have the best rope park in the mid west (it’s in Michigan)

You need to go back to alpine Valley their park is way better now they redid it due to the lack of snow that Wisconsin has had in the beginning of the year they only had a few jumps and now they have the tow rope going and a lot more jobs and rails

Granite peak has the highest vertical and most runs I believe
cascade is my personal favorite. granite peak is bigger, but gets really flat at the bottom
