I used to go swimming here as hard as it is to believe 😂😂 in the 90s this place used to be packed full of people and kids wanting to cool off from the summer heat.. they stopped letting us jump in the pool in the 2000s because of an incident that happened unfortunately.. i love my city ❤

I saw an old sci-fi movie and The Fort Water Gardens is featured in the movie to my surprise as well as an unknown young and beautiful Farrah Fawcett from Charlie's Angels.
I couldn't believe it......That prove it is ahead of its time .
Such a beautiful work of art

Beautiful video! I'm from Phoenix, AZ and we could use a park like the Fort Worth Water Gardens. Summers in Phoenix averages 💯 degrees plus. An urban structure like the FW Water Gardens would keep residents cool in the day and evening. Magnificent landscape. 🏞⛲

Beautiful video! I watched it before and after my family and I visited the water garden. This video surely helped me better appreciate this beautiful water garden!

Its beautiful, been there twice. But the stone steps are very narrow especially on the top, and people have to go down and come up the same effing way. Someone heavyset almost pushed me off with their heavy bulkiness while going down, and I was coming up. And there is always people standing on the step 3 from the top taking photos. If the City is reading this, please build another path of stone steps to make this enjoyable and less of a death trap!

Great video! It's absolutely BONKERS that people managed to drown here. This is why we can't have nice things.

Back in the late 90s we would go and get in the water(as everyone else did) quiet dangerous but it was fun.

I'll be one of the first to admit, but in the active pool as kids, we played in the water. Yes, it's unlawful, but we were careful. We never got in trouble. In fact, I've never seen anyone get in trouble for it.

I LOVE this video. The writing is tight, and you've really got expressive VO in a way a lot of bigger channels have yet to master. It's too bad the channel stopped here. But if you're still checking comments, could I use some of this footage (with credit) in one of my upcoming projects? I'm writing a video about the impact of man-made waterfalls, and I'm unable to pick up shots from the Water Gardens.

I live her and I dont know who you are talking about. if you are insinuating the black kids that fell and drowned they did not ruin anything. It was only a matter of time someone was killed. i am surprised more people did not fall as that area where all the water drainsinto was always a deathtrap. why did it take a death to fix it. My kids were never allowed to go therewith anyone or any family as i feared that they would fall into that water trap.
