Technique Lesson: Tremolo - A Comprehensive Approach (tinyurl.com/y7s3wlaz)
Today’s performance and tutorial from EliteGuitarist.com is for Recuerdos de la Alhambra, one of the most iconic pieces in the classical guitar repertoire. This piece is deeply evocative of the Spanish gardens of Alhambra and employs tremolo, a technique that is unique in its form to the guitar. Check out the note-for-note tutorial taught by Taso Comanescu and the full technique tutorial “Tremolo - A Comprehensive Approach.”
Taso plays a beautiful 2017 German Vazquez Rubio Custom Elite, Rubio’s absolutely top-of-the-line model in spruce and African blackwood with stunning materials and workmanship.

Cool, thank you for your instructions. I have a 2016 G V Rubio "Hauser" model and love it. Very "rich" and "deep" harmonics.

Great instruction but unfortunately his tremolo is plagued by the galloping uneveness he's instructing us how to avoid. Not horrible, but noticable. It just highlights how incredibly difficult the technique is. I'm starting to think the ladies have the edge - Kyuhee Park, Ana Vidovic, and Gohar Vardarian all play tremolo with total control and musicality - yet each approach it differently. No doubt there is someone alive who can, but I've yet to hear a male player play tremolo with the same finesse as those three ladies. As for me - I totally suck at it, and I've been trying to improve for 40 years LOL.

Tioga Fretworks check out Scott Tennant. That man's a master of tremolo.

John Williams is probably the best tremolo I have ever heard, Bream, Russell & Parkening are also great. As for the ladies, check out Stephanie Jones playing this piece .... I think she's wonderful

Ana Vidovic es buena pero toca el tremolo solo con pulgar medio indice ...no se trata de ser mujer o hombre...el dedo anular es lo que compromite todo...si no estudia horas y horas diaria ..se puede omitir....pero hay que hacerlo veloz

who are you ? maestro? why you chose to criticize this gentleman this way. you need mind you writing skills. I don't say I 'm starting... "plagued" is way too critical. We are plagued by your comment, totally!
