I agree that Thu Le's playing is beautiful, but what I can't understand is why you think there's something wrong with a person who doesn't agree with our opinion.
Thu Le, you are the magician who holds the emotion of the listeners by possessing/controlling the nuances of the song. You surgically play out the sound and melody of the song with almost no efforts. I think you are the only guitarist who can go beyond the technical part of the song to express its true beauty. Most of people who play this song want to show off their ability. You play this song to show off the beauty and the emotion of the song....because the difficulties of the song are no longer in your mind. Your talent is beyond all.

practice your tremolo. Its not impossible. Maybe you wont play it like her or some other top-level guitarst but hey.... once your tremolo gets acceptable, the piece becomes a piece of cake. Its so pleasant to be able to play pieces that you may thought you would never be able to play before... it happened to me after learning Capricho Arabe. My level is still quite bad but still practice everyday
Wow! Simply wow! As far as VN guitar players are concerned, Kim Chung has always been one of my favourites when it comes to personal interpretations of Recuerdos. But this interpretation is simply mind blowing. Your passion , emotional investment and dedication to this piece quite literally had me in tears. Fantastic; very smooth. I remember being "blown away" the first time I heard this piece as a 16 year old (in 1968) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The player was Alirio Diaz.
Listening to this over and over as I drink my coffee while watching the boats on the Hoi An river. A beautiful way to start my day...
