Saw Weir and Wasserman open for JGB at Alpine Valley in the fall of '89. Cool clear midwestern fall evening, with a full harvest moon rising opposite the stage. Far from a sellout, people were running around on the lawn. Bob and Rob played this, locked in the whole night. It was so beautiful. Then JGB got the party going, two sets, with a long break in between during which the entire Axis Bold As Love album was played over the monitors. A four-hour show, this might have been the best concert experience I've ever had.
Try to remember to forget - love that line & use it all the time! God Bless Bobby & Wasserman & Jerry & Donna & Keith, & Pigpen, & Brent, sadly that list goes on & on but music is forever! Great post!
Saw Weir and Wasserman do this in Golden Gate Park in 89...the first music in the Park in 20 years [at that time]. Just the two of them in close to the all the people in the Park that day. I wept at the beauty of it all...unashamed and unabashed.
Saw them at Chautauqua park, Boulder back in 89 and 90?? Great, great chemistry...RIP brother. Thank you for the music. Try to remember to forget..........
From his strumming take on the intro to his beginning vocals… it’s so easy to know he’s gonna nail this. And he does…. and 3:32 this song handcuffs all takers. Besides Bobby, no one can do even a decent job of covering this masterpiece. 3:05
@jackofdiamond87 Bootleg tapes??!! Haven't herd that term in years n years....have had a few myself which have gotten lost over the years...thank God for You tube!! God bless Jer Bear!!

Man I really miss Rob, RIP to one of the greats. THANK YOU so much for uploading.
One of the greatest Rob and Bob moments captured thank you with all my heart.
I forgot how much I loved this song!!!!
Hi Bobby. Love you always from Patti Cornell
I’d go as far as saying Wasserman was to Bobby, what John Kahn was to Jerry.
John Kahn wishes he had the chops of Wasserman. Kahn is mediocre at best.
@@davidjen5244easy now…
Deep stand up bass with easy plucking and soft sensual bow grace to remember our time is eternal. Saw wassermen and he stood out as a reminder
Wow!! Great song! Thanks for posting!
Little feat song. Lowell George wrote it.
