"...this is not some agent provocateur, or highly trained assassin. The man you have failed to slow let alone capture, is by all accounts a paralyzed man..." - Breen talking to the Combine Overwatch, against no-mouse Freeman.
I love seeing challenge runs like these. It forces the player to think in ways that weren't even intended for normal play. It's really cool to see people's thought process during these! Anyway, this reminded me that I need to finish a challenge run that I'm doing, so thanks for that, I guess.
I have good reason to believe that in the intervening years, he was in a state that precluded further development of mouse movement. The man you have consistently failed to slow, let alone capture, is by all standards simply that--an ordinary man. How can you have failed to apprehend him?
Now is the moment to redeem yourselves. If the trans-Razer forces are to prove themselves an indispensable augmentation to the gaming arsenal - they will have to earn the privilege. I'm sure I don't need to remind you that the alternative - if you can call it that, is total obsolescence. In union with all the other unworthy branches of hardware. Let's not allow it to come to that. I have done my best to convince our gamers that you are the finest the product line has to offer. So far, they have accepted my argument. 13:28 -- somehow I've played HL2 for years but only now realised that those airships are a metal container that is being carried by an animal, rather than being a single thing.
Right. The aircraft is carrying the metal container. But it confuses me that you didn’t realize this. 1. There are numerous metal containers all by themselves at multiple points on the game. I think an aircraft even leaves one on the ground at one point. 2. You see the aircraft carry striders multiple times in the game. They don’t carry a container when they carry the strider as it it would interfere with their cargo.

I have an idea for a challenge. You should try completing the game from d2_coast_08 (that map where you if you load directly into it, you spawn in the wrong place with nothing). I think that will mean that you have to go all the way through Ravenholm backwards to get the gravity gun because you have to have it in the citadel. That will be interesting to see
the game doesnt let you backtrack that much. for example at the end of ravenholm you jump on a deep pit that you cant climb back without glitches. even if you make it to black mesa east, the npcs wont spawn/ wont play the scripted sequences that is neccessary to get the gravity gun. even the door to ravenholm could be locked because the script that unlocks it is never executed
@@cemozdemir227 I actually tried to see if it's possible and for some reason you cannot go backwards from highway 17 to ravenholm and can't go backwards from the graveyard ravenholm level so it's not possible but I think if you would change the map and place those level load triggers then it might be possible with like advanced glitches. Or, another idea, what if you go to d2_coast_08, go backwards from that to d2_coast_04 where you get an rpg, then go forward to beat the game until the point where you will need the gravity gun (probably in the citadel chapters) and just give it to yourself with commands. It might be possible, might not be possible. I think it might be impossible because when you get the rpg or and all of the ammo runs out, or if you just get the bugballs, the weapon doesn't automatically switch like with the other weapons, and because you don't have the hev suit, you cannot switch weapons so you will have an rpg/bugballs in your hands until you pickup a new weapon which im not sure you will be able to because at that point you will already have a few from the dead combine soldiers. All I know is that it's possible to do this until the gunship right before nova prospekt

Cool run! Wish I could've heard of it earlier, I believe lower fps may allow you to move your camera even more with doorbug, or at least that's what I remember happening when playing on my old crappy PC.
Doorbug works because your hotbox isn't a smooth surface. It's a box, by approaching the door at an angle you can catch the corner of your hit box with the door, causing you to rotate
Imagine walking through town, and you watch some weirdo walking by through town without ever looking in a different direction unless he is on a moving platform and begins jumping to modify rotation.. Or if he gets hit in the face with an opening door (when in a very specific position)
