How many miles on the 4Runner?
205k original
@ThorenBradley I wanted to see the answer to this. It still has 205k to go. Lol
@@hollamonE right!??? 😂😂 and then all I gotta do is change the wiper fluid and it’ll have another 100k to go…even still 😂
Haha nice
I have a Toyota as well. 2008. 161k, and going super strong. A baby in Toyota miles.. 😂
Dude went through hell and back and still looks like a unit. I bet you felt like crap, but your body keeping up like that is absolutely outstanding!
This made my day man. Means a lot
@@ThorenBradleyman you stayed disciplined and it shows 🤟
Watching you on TikTok and RUclips really helped me get my head screwed on right. I’ve lost 65 pounds, with a lot more to go. I’m working with a personal trainer and trying to focus on portion control. I’m still fat, but even at 55, I’m the happiest and healthiest I’ve ever been.
Well done on your weight loss. That is fantastic 🎉
Dude your an absolute beast and you look better than 98% of Americans. Trust me, we all support you
I wonder what the 2% look like 😳
I'm not into choping wood, I'm not into fitness or modeling, but for some reason I keep watching your videos. I think it has to be with your honesty and openness. That's a rare trait and is much appreciated.
You are gay.
That is okay.
@@bradleyreserveI have a wife and kid and I like watching him too
I don't mind being gay
But I think it's unlikely cause I used to split logs(I got my sciatica from poor technique chopping wood) 😢and was into fitness before my motorcycle accident
@@pauljohnagustin4079 You are an anomaly... most people watching these videos dont actually and have never split logs or chopped wood. Most people are just attracted to this gorgeous man.
@@Jeffrhodes-pl7rc Im not closeted nor repressed Im openly gay.... and living my best life! Admiring the male physique is homo behaviour.
He's also really attractive. I'm not trying to objectify him or be dismissive of his content or anything, but keep everything else the same just have him look like steve buschemi and his channel doesn't grow as much. Humans enjoy looking at fit, pretty people.
Your body did a great job. You will totally heal and still are a smoke show express. Colitis is no joke and you are smart enough to reverse it. Maybe some bone broth delish for awhile? Take care Thoren. 💪
I appreciate that. More than you know
"Smoke show express" is such an awesome phrase! You are so supportive of this man.
What I love the most is your attitude. That inspires way more than your physique tbh..
That being said, you're an absolute tank, super aesthetic..
I am coming back from 3.5 years of sick leave due to shoulder and back injury, and a physique that suffered under that, so I absolutely feel the struggle. Its the mental battle of getting out there every day, despite the excuses queueing up.
Thank you for the inspiration brother, and get well soon!
So proud of you Thoren. Not just for making it through all that. But also for sharing this. Reminding people that life isn’t always as easy as people assume it is. You are an inspiration!! ❤ Glad to know you found some answers and you look amazing!
Greetings from Brazil! The forest around your house reminds me a lot of my house in southern Brazil, great vibes
Thanks for sharing the health update. You’re looking great given what your body went through. Wishing you a healthy year ahead! I am literally going through the exact same thing as we speak - blood, visits to ER, CT scan showing nothing, going to a GI. It’s been 2 months. I have a procedure in the next few days to hopefully get an answer and be properly diagnosed 🤞🏼
Here’s to your health!! A young and incredibly intelligent fitness trainer once told me… “Health first and everything is easier”. That young dude has helped me a lot! I’m happy you are taking care of you and even happier you are on the mend. ❤
Really appreciate your youtube videos for being honest/transparent. Keep doing what you're doing mate, because you're proof of what a man can achieve by sticking to his path! 💪
This was gold to hear. Thank you
Hi Thoren, I am genuinely sorry to hear how unwell you have been!!! Thank you for being open, honest & transparent with your health issues! As 1 of your Dōse app subscribers who has been a pain in the ass member, whilst reaching out to you for all my health issues leading up to my spinal surgery last month. You have been an absolute blessing to me, all the whilst going through such health issues yourself😢 you truly are a gem of a human being💎 I hope with each passing day, you feel better- you have all the knowledge & means to get yourself back on track to where you want to be, but let us as your RUclips family send you the virtual hugs, wishes & healing 💌 to help with your recovery❣️xx 🐛🏹💫
Dude, you're a hero in my book! I wish I had one tenth of your drive and ambition. But, I'm old and my body is very broken. I wish you the best in you're continued recovery!
Thanks for your honesty & hope you have a speedy recuperation. Sending love from NYC!❤❤❤
My man.. I’m just glad you’re okay now. You’re a fighter bro, stay awesome
Thoren, thanks for the transparency. You're certainly a role model, and even though I don't aspire to do as much as you do, I am striving to find my balance with my body and health. As an older man of 56, I want a manageable routine of living. I would love to see you talk more about supplements (the ones you take and the ones you know about and/or recommend). Keep up the great work!
This is why I always send up a pray each day for those that I do not know. I'm glad that you are doing better.Thank God!
My friend, despite all the setbacks you've faced during these tougher times you magnificently prevailed with not only a strong and wise mindset that will help you avoid such an unfortunate turn of events to occur again, but with a killer body as well! I would also be extremely proud of the state you're in right now if I were you, it's truly remarkable. I appreciate you teaching us to critically think instead of hating on one thing, which is the norm nowadays. You have my admiration and support going forward!
Appreciate the honesty brother ! in a world full of lies, honesty is the start to true strength. You’re not were you would like to be but you’re appreciative of what you have and where you’re going.
Wishing you best of strength and guidance during your journey 💪🏾
A 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner!!! Awesome!
Glad to see you doing so well with your condition. You are an inspiration
Bro, you are the man, such a true cool ass dude. You always entertain and always are transparent, never stop providing content and inspiration 🤘🏼
I love the honesty. And the rawness. This is the first time I didn’t agree with everything you said, and that gave me a real sense of genuinety..whatever that is in adjective form. Anyway, this proves to me you’re not just talking for the likes, and I like that! Good luck on your recovery! We’re watching you all the way from Norway!
Definitely earned a sub after this. Incredible physique even with all the medical problems. You are a motivation for everyone who watches brother.
Good luck, fella, and godspeed on your recovery.
Say it how it is, no beanin around!
Finally following after a watching a few shorts and not I’m using your app to help me keep my fitness high with my stupid work hours and diabetes with it. Sleep is definitely my new priority.
Glad you’re feeling better and got that figured out for yourself. Thank you for sharing with us
Bro,you got me crying real tears,I'm glad your doing better.🙏❤🤗
I'm glad to see you talking about health issues. I think sometimes people feel like they always need to keep these things to themselves. I'm not saying everyone needs to be open about absolutely everything but when it comes down to it, sharing some of your experiences can help others too. I have a lot of autoimmune issues too and I am a huge advocate for listening to your body and trusting yourself when you know something is off. Glad you're doing okay and hope you feel 100% soon!
Much love and respect brother! Glad you feel better now
Sorry you went through all that glad you are doing better. You look Amazing. Thank you for still being out here inspiring us even while you were on the struggle bus.
Thank you for thanking me for that. 😂 seriously. I was making videos before going into the ERoom so I could post when I was in there. I definitely hustled
@@ThorenBradley dang your a real 1. You’re Definitely an amazing hustler. 😉
Hi from Ireland. Sorry you were so unwell. But I've been sick too. And your attitude is fantastic. Be gentle with your recovery and take it step by step and you'll be better than you ever were.
So glad you are feeling better! You are spot on about the frustrations with our healthcare system, especially here in rural NorCal and other under-served areas. Also, spot on about some of the pitfalls of supplements. And, again, spot on about what can and should be counted as 'achievements' when dealing with illness. If most people get clobbered by an illness that takes a toll on their bodies and sets them back, then making it through such an illness without a lot of weight loss and muscle loss can absolutely be an achievement.
Very sorry to hear all you had to deal with. Thanks for sharing your update.
I went thru some GI issues about a year ago - and after a few trips to Emergency, I got my GI referral and they found the trigger. I feel fortunate that I did not have the troubles you did just to get a dam referral!
You look fantastic - No one would ever know you had been thru so much.
Hopefully it is all behind you now. Love your content - not just the axe work and fitness content, but also when you philosophize and give advice.
Amazing looks, skills, and an amazing mind.
Appreciate your honesty more than you know. You truly are an inspiration and a class act. Keep it up Thoren - your RUclips fam love you for it
You know you are so much more than a guy who chops wood. You prove it time and time again. Honesty in all things. Bravo. You really are a great man. Thank you.
Fantastic advice, bro. Glad you're on the road to recovery.
Losing muscle plays hell on your mind. About ten years ago, I had some major issues with PTSD and sever Anxiety attacks and I sat at home day and night for over a year, went from a fit 220 to 170lbs at 6'3. I watched myself melt daily. Once I got the right help, I sprung back, always take care of yourself man.
Super good work keeping up with your food intake while trying to get help and keeping that muscle on, you're doing great and hoping you keep improving day by day!
Thank you Thoren for your honesty. Good to see you recovered. Just reaffirm my initiative motivation to live a healthier lifestyle.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾😊😊
Best wishes for speedy and sustained recovery
Glad you got some help and on the road to recovery. You look great kiddo 😊
I can't imagine what it was like to go through that. I'm sorry. Happy that you are recovering!!😊
Thanks for the vitamins series very serious as well and learning side effects like this is golden to me, bro nothing to be ashamed of u look freaking boss
I didn't know he was going through that. Glad to see he is doing better. It most definitely helped that he is in good shape. I have seen people have dramatically different out comes to the same thing. It helped with a healthy mindset and body.
It doesn’t even look like you want through what you went through! The discipline is unreal 💪
Another solid lesson 🙌🏼 loving the honesty/transparency. Your body went through the fuckin ringer and physique is still fire. Motivating AF.
Glad to see you on the mend! My fav creator on all platforms because you keep it a buck at all times! 👏🏽
Stay Gold 💫💛☺️ thank you for sharing your plight and struggles, very inspirational!
Love the transparency. You look great btw, your baseline body is set in stone don’t stress yourself out
Good advice I am glad you got answers and healthcare. I'm always amazed at how hard it is to find or get any medical care in our current culture. I'm proud of you and we all support you through this challenge. You look awesome!
Assuming you aren’t vaxxed. Obviously that would be the issue.
I was searching for the perfect axe for my firewood and ended up here 😅 You are very well spoken. I’m glad you’re in recovery and you’re taking care of yourself. For what it’s worth… I personally think you look better now 🤷🏽♀️ I do like tall and skinny though lol RUclips is the best! Without it I wouldn’t have gotten through these past two years as easily. The community here is amazing 🥰
Love your videos Thoren. Did not know about your health issues. Glad you're doing better!
Impressive considering what you were going through. I also had GI issues with GERD and finally curbed it with diet and exercise. I am trying to get better everyday and struggle with consistency at the gym. Thank you for opening up and sharing your story bro. I am from SAC and its awesome to see someone locally doing this shit.
Thor- what a effin struggle...I can really relate! So glad u got it figured out!🤞🍀🙏❤️
Hey man, I’m really glad you’re alright! I’ve been sticking to my nutrition currently it’s a tough tbh! I wish you could have the uk health care so you wouldn’t be spending a bomb! Glad you’re okay brother and it was really nice that you touched on this subject and made people aware!
Just saw this... I get where you're comin' from man. All the best.
Ok at first, I was watching all the shorts like, hmmmm is he single ? I think I’ve just found my ‘end times’ man 😅 but wow …. Actually wow, then I was like this Man is a whole real inspiration way beyond the good looks and sheer mighty strength, what a genuinely lovely guy !!
I hope you continue to heal and get back to your best !! It takes courage to speak on health issues it can be really stressful and scary, also being vulnerable with such personal things online …. but sharing that knowledge can help so many !!
“Welcome to the Rabbit hole” … thanks for sharing the what all is out there to put in your body story. You’re not alone.👏👏👏
Ugh ...so sorry you went through that! I had severe diverticulitis last August resulting in surgery in November. Internal organ type of health issues seem to be far more difficult to recover and rebound back from, for me at least. At 53, I figured out your health should not be taken for granted. Happy to hear you're on the road to recovery.. just remember to give yourself grace. Wishing you continued recovery, physical and mental (because shit like that is a total mind fuck)!
Cheers- Kathy
Glad you figured it out and are feeling better. Honestly, the supplement industry needs to be regulated by the FDA, but as a billion+ dollars a year industry that will probably never happen.
Isn’t it crazy?!
The supplement industry is regulated by the FDA, quite a bit, actually.
Fair play to you young man , this video will help others , not everything we take should be taken for granted, this video will enlighten many with similar issues
From September to November last year I lost most of my mobility. It was really scary. I had severe pain and stiffness in both hip joints and shoulders and neck. Diagnosis was Polymyalgia Rheumatica, my inflammation markers through the roof. Within 4 days of starting steroids I felt so much better but had massive concerns about side effects. To help counteract the steroids I started back at the gym on 17th Dec and have gone religiously every 2 or 3 days with some outdoor hiking in between. The side effects are shit sometimes but I'm more mobile than ever and trying my best to feel strong again. You inspired me to get fit again so thank you. Its helped hugely with my mental health too. Hope you continue to recover well.
You too! Don't overdo, but I am so happy you have found that consistency!
Autoimmune issues are no joke and can be so frustrating dealing with! Finding practitioners that actually know what's going on and that can help you get on the right track, can feel impossible at times! Glad you figured out the trigger and you're feeling better and got things under control!
I swear the best content creators are driving a yoda. Love to see it.
I'm sorry you have been sick. You are still looking fabulous!!!! If you ever make it to the east coast again I would volunteer to shoot a video of you 😂😂😂 be safe out there!!
Far out, it was the lion’s mane! Very true about the dose response curve for everything. A large percentage of pharmaceuticals are natural products, they have just been tested and doses worked out. Supplements either work or don’t, few have proper clinical studies, and it’s unlikely you’ll know what is the right dose. Also a plant or mushroom might have way more active compounds in it than the next one because it was grown in more light or different soil so doses are almost impossible if just dry weight of the plant is used in a supplement. Good to hear you found out what it was and YES just getting started 💪
You look great! I hope that things will continue to get better for you!💪🏽💪🏽😊❤❤🔥🔥
I appreciate the real life update. You are doing great. It’s hard sometimes, & that sounded really bad.
It’s inspiring what you said.
No shame brother.
Big love.
Life knocks us down but we keep getting up!
Loved being able to read this tonight man. Thank you
@@ThorenBradley you’re very welcome, Thoren! I’m glad to hear it.
This is one of the best natural bodies i've ever seen i'm trying to work on mine as well
Glad you are on the mend!
Super helpful video. Had some of the same stuff a while back. You still look so good man, could hardly tell.
Fucking thank you dude! I hope you are doing awesome now
Awesome video. Refreshing to see someone willing to show themselves not at their best.
That said, you’re jacked. 😂
I'm glad your rough road to recovery has mellowed, man! With the caffeine, something that helps me is half decaffeinated, and half light roast cold brew. See if that helps with the workload.
Also, Florastor can help with sucrlose and Ace-K found in normal energy drinks.
That's awesome advice!
I appreciate that. Glad you're doing better
My name is the same as your last name. If I had half of what you have I would be good with that. Keep doing what you are doing, because you are a stud. Thanks for the video and your honesty for sharing what has been going on. Have a great day
I think you look amazing and I totally agree that more tests need to be done on these new vitamins supplements and teas ect even coffee alternatives . You are awesome and i am
thankful and cant say thank you enough for putting it out there. you are amazing . Hugs.
Shout out the 4Runner! My mom handed me down her 2000 version (original owner) and I’ve been driving it ever since. 240K miles and going
I remember reading Thor’s articles on T Nation like 10 years ago, definitely had a hand in my development way back then. Good to see you on here bro.
Dude! An OG!
Considering what you've been dealing with. You're looking good. Hugs.
It is really useful for information like this to be shared as someone who also has autoimmune issues, particularly in the gut.
Looking absolutely great. No one would know you'd been ill.
Competitive physique for sure. You could cut for 8 weeks and step on stage haha. Impressive effort to maintain your lifestyle and structure given the health concerns.
So scary! Good for you for listening to your body👏🏾
Dude I know first hand how you feel. I went through hell alot worse. I went from a ripped 195 down to 140 in 30 days. My immune system attacked me over night. I was 21 back in 81 in the Army. I spent 6 months in Walter Reed Army medical center before they figured it out. I had to learn how to walk again and took me at least a year of lifting after the fact to gain my muscle back. My dad said I looked like I came out of a German prison camp. I had reoccurring attacks 3 times over the next 10 years but not as bad. Hang in there!
Thank you for sharing, and sorry your winter has been shitty healthwise but glad you’re on the up and up. Still very much in the “witcho fine ass” territory 😂
😂 i needed this laugh
You're a tough SOB, you had the will to power through all that mess. I'm an old dude and on my own healthy journey, you've given me inspiration to keep going. So thank you for that. Also you look as hard as your axes. Later
I just started lions mane 3 weeks ago and I have 5 or 6 autoimmune diseases and I haven’t felt good since. I’ve been fighting flares all month, my prednisone would probably mask it but after years of being on 20mg daily it destroyed my body inside and out. I’ve worked my way down to 2mg a day and no matter how much pain I’m in, I will not take more to feel better. I’m just trying to find the combination of supplements that will get me off of it for good. I’m glad you found the cause before it really took hold of you. For me, I don’t know if I’ll ever get back the strength I lost from years of prednisone but after it pushed me up to 300lbs and diabetic I’m down to 170lbs and though your never cured from diabetes, I can eat whatever I want and have a resting heart beat of 60 and blood pressure of 96/64 which is pretty solid for a diabetic. Thanks for the video and I truly wish you a full recovery. You may or may not believe in God but I believe and I believe I was meant to catch this video after wondering why you lost a noticeable amount of weight and I don’t even follow you, you just pop up on my timeline and shorts and I noticed you were sick.
My man your straight killing the game.
What downturn? Still look like Greek god to me!❤ glad you feel better!
Dude, I have never used outside stuff to build. Strait up good food only. Thay was back when i lived with my folks. Had PILES of energy and a love for working physically hard. Pushed myself darn near every day. Was ripped and solid. And all that just from good wholesale food.
Absolute tank 💪🏽 big bro
You're an inspiration
Solid advice my man… comjng from a Doctor of Physical Therapy for over 13 yrs ( my wife is the same and she is a certified health and wellness coach who deals a lot with nutrition to heal the body/ gut). Our healthcare system BLOWS in general. As you said, very rare to find practioners that actually take the time or care to really figure out what the cause of health issues are… the norm now is here are some pills see if theh help. Absolutely stupid! Good for you knowing your body and taking inventory enough to know they werent helping you. Bet those med bills were upwards of 15k… hopefully at least insurance covered part of it so your not hammered financially. Healthy food and exercise heal A LOT… you look good man despite the cluster you went through. Heal up and keep putting out good content… its solid my man coming from another bearded dude who knows a bit about health 🤙
Thanks for this video, super informative. I avoid most supplements for this and many reasons, but there are reputable companies out there.
The lesson is, don't take unnecessary shit. If you have a certain deficency, that is actually diagnosed, tackle that. If not, just eat normal food and go outside.
So true. Thanks for sharing.
Truly inspiring.
We see a specimen of man like you and we think that guy has no problems at all and then we find out he is really just like us with the same problems
Thank you that's a good advice I have gone through that it's not fun❤❤❤❤❤
